My eyes are fucked up. Dominate hand side eye is as good as blind. Astigmatism and double vision so my brain learned to ignore it and prioritize the good eye.What this means is crossing even with my good eye closed, I will literally start to see the darkness/back of my eyelid from my closed good eye over the vision of the shit eye. Glasses do fuck all except help me drive better.When I try to just aim non dominate hand with the eye I can see out of I have a drop. I’ll get the dot/crosshair right over my target really take all the time in the world calming down and being slow and no matter what my shots land down and to the left. BUT if I go above the target and to the right slightly to compensate for that drop suddenly my shots are dead on where I’m aiming, not on the center bullseye but dead on where I’m actually aiming if that makes sense.>move target up to the rightI’ve tried it doesn’t change this even though this should be the fix…I legit cannot shoot worth of shit. I’ve tried having it at all different heights it’s the exact same bullshit I’m so fucking frustrated over this right now. I want to be able to do this. I’ve tried adjusting scopes it’s all the same shit. It’s the same with rifles and handguns. Idk what to do. I can’t find much info about this online. I want to go into the military (Seabee) and there’s no way I can shoot a fucking gun worth of shit.Please if some gun nerd knows anything I’m desperate. I’m looking into eye surgery but idk what good it would do. I know there’s stocks made for issues like this but that don’t help much on the military side of things.The very few instances in which I’ve tried aiming out my shit eye and been able to take a quick shot before my brain started seeing the darkness from the closed eye I was on center for what it’s worth.

If one of these is shaped weird, weak, damaged, tightened, loose etc it causes strabismus aka lazy eye.They correct it in childhood by making you wear a patch on the good eye so the brain is forced to use the shit eye. As a small child under the age of 7 I didn’t understand the point of it it was never explained I was just told to wear the patch, I couldn’t see shit so I always ripped them off. People teased me and I hated walking into shit so never made it past a few hours. Didn’t understand the point of it. They claim as an adult corrective exercises aren’t that effective. I can maybe 1 out of every 10 shots get close to my target shooting right handed using right eye but that’s wildly inconsistent and all depends on if my brain will let me see the input from that eye long enough to line a shot up. I immediately realized that was wrong and have been primarily trying to shoot left handed. Everything I said has been trying to shoot left handed.If that’s correct then I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I tried to make a visual picrel. Initial shots when aiming right at center are the bottom left. Trying to compensate by aiming off center are the upper right. The blue line seems to be some weird zone where if I cross below it I’m off by inches but if I’m above it I’m super accurate (as in compensating does nothing and now I hit where I’m aiming). Doesn’t change if I stand more to one side, if I raise or lower target or move it to the side so I’m lost on that>trying to use right hand right eyeI just wanna give another example to try and clarify that issue, I literally can’t shoot that way. If I leave both eyes open but place a hand over the left eye and try to focus out the shitty right eye within seconds I’ll begin just seeing my palm over the good eye, like the image of it gets overlayed on what the shitty right eye is trying to look at. That’s on top of the vision being blurry. I guess with handguns I was just too new (have only practiced with rifles since). I didn’t hit dead center but 4/8 shots were actually close to it, all around the bullseye now.
