That's part of the reason they've pushed that so hard with their products since the late 80s or early 90s. Beretta could theoretically completely end Rugers firearms end of things and still keep the company profitable with a bit of restructuring. I don't think guns were Rugers main profit source for most of the last 20yrs or so.
