I'm looking through my options for optics and think this one looks neat. I'm not a serious shooter, just like shooting some targets. I know it's not going to last forever or anything but would this be fine for my use case? Thanks fellers.
>>64414905Sorry Doug. The MINIMUM amount you need to spend on an optic is $1k and you should only mount it on a quality firearm, like an 11.5 PSA. I don’t make the rules
>>64414915I aint got the funds brother
>>64414922Unfortunately you will just die in tha skreets
>115 dollar compact 2-10x there is a terrible compromise somewhere in that design. youre better off just getting a vortex spitfire, PA microprism or an swfa fixed mag scope.any further defense of the optic you posted will be seen as shitposting.
>>64414915There is something to be said about glass being a better investment than the rifle itself. But yeah OP it will be fine for fucking around.
>>64414935It’s almost like you’d be able to detect humor if you weren’t a terminally online shut in
>>64414905Probably won’t hold zero well, and your skin color will darken significantly.
>>64414905Contrary to fuddlore like >>64414933 cheapshit chinkglass is astonishingly good at this point. Athlon, Swampfox, Element Optics, Burris and more, all do solid value stuff. However, the one you're posting looks suspiciously close to airsoft territory. There is a cheapness point where it literally won't hold a zero even on 22lr, which is honestly just worthless. I'd go over to EuroOptic or something and sort riflescopes price low to high and pick an above one or used Vortex or something, you should still be able to find decent options at <$200. Don't buy off scamazon or the like though.
>>64414905What are you putting it on?
eye relief smaller than ops pp
>>64414905Look at the Bushnell Trophy, much cheaper than other extreme budget optics. Many hunters use them since they come bundled with their rifles from big box stores, so you know the glass will be acceptable and it'll hold zero.
>>64415222>>64415222Correcting myself, I meant to refer to the Bushnell Banner. However, the Trophy is on sale on Optics Planet for $80. You can't go wrong here, even if you get a lemon they have a good warranty and will get you sorted.
>>64415196A Springfield Saint. (Not the victor)
>>64415162Thanks for the suggestion! The only thing is that I'm looking for an in-between optic. I'm not looking for a full blown scope, just something with "glass". Something shorter that still has some magnification to it.
This whole thread.
>>64415319>$100 optic >on a Springfield Saint
>>64415356Sry mang. Do you not like Springfield's or are you just saying I should spend a gazillion dollars on a gun that is worth dollars?
