The problem i have with this thread is why anyone would fight them in the first place. If Gadget shows up at your front door there is a damn good reason and you should help him unless you have something to hide and you have at a minimum a mechanized infantry battalion to back you up. One of the things that is implied but never stated is that whatever killed Gadget and his family besides Penny also killed Brain and the reason Penny named the dog 'Brain' is that the dog had more brains left in it's body than Gadget did.
