Completely unconfirmed and outlandish rumors about Glock scrapping 90% of their line-up and replacing then with new models modified to make drop-in auto sears incompatible.
It's an extraordinary claim that would take extraordinary evidence to be taken seriously by anyone with average intelligence.
Currently there's no evidence at all indicating that these claims are true, just rumors.
>>
>buying plastic guns
>>
>>64426783
To show that complying with gun grabbers have very tangible effects on the bottom line. Same thing needs to happens to Sig for the Peener remover 320, but for some reason, (((they))) are still in the denial stage of the cope. At least Glockfags are moving towards acceptance.
>>
>>64426704
I don't have any glocks and am not interested myself, but this sort of purity shit is fucking retarded. They aren't bad guns even if the prices are bad, so if people started to panic or rage sell them for 60-90% off or something and a buddy picked one up I wouldn't blame him at all. Hell even I might consider one or two for that kinda discount just to have some beater I don't have to give a shit about.

Guns are tools and I'm never going to boycott for some political shit, only if the product/pricing is bad.

>>
>>64426830
I thought they already changed them some to make it harder to put in switches? Annoying, but it's not like there aren't absolutely millions of the things all around, if you're dead set on making a post sample Blicky, or I guess doing some secret shenanigans, you should able to easily find a suitable pistol.

Also, until it becomes possible to register new transferables again (or the NFA manages to actually go away), I don't see how this is a particularly tangible issue.
I oppose it emotionally, but given how little difference this actually makes I can't be fucked to care.

Now, if transferables were on the table again but Glock still did this shit, THAT'S when I'd actually get angry, because then it DOES matter.

sig (p320) literally has a cage around the fcu preventing the 'switch problem' glocks have. china cant invent a drop in sig switch by default. sig goes further and serializes the fcu so any mods to it are ffl transfers, so you cant get an FRT without more ffl paperwork and tracing.

these are likely the steps glock will take with this "v" line anyway, and it's stuff sig already does. thats why the outrage is weird, everyone else already did this, glock has been holding out, and now is feeling the heat
>>
>>64428679
The FCU creates the problems with hairpin triggers and negligent discharges though. They already figured this out with Taurus a decade ago.
>>
>>64428687
i actually dont give a fuck about sig performance i wouldnt buy one anyway. im just saying that the fcu is designed to prevent drop in switches. now glock is going to be forced to act like sig. but the bottomline is that sig was always cucked, and now glock is being forced to cuck.

I lift and all clothes fit tight on me so I print a lot but 43x does not and I forget I'm carrying it.
>>
>>64431003
The Sig is a little bigger, but I prefer the weight distribution. I'm aware this is purely subjective but I feel like it hangs on my belt better, almost like how a revolver sits really well. I also prefer it's recoil impulse but, again, that's not super scientific and objective
>>
>>64431030
Weird. The weight distribution of the 43x is the best I've ever felt on a handgun. Subjective I guess.

I do find it definitely requires a wedge and winged holster and a half-decent gun belt for the grip to really hug into your body and not flop forward, but once you have that it's perfect. Velo5 with the 2nd or 3rd largest wing iirc.
>>
>>64431042
I've never been the biggest glock guy, so the 43x was just a worse 19 to me. Tried to justify it by carry but like I said, I just had lots of little nags about it
>>
>>64431060
Makes sense because that's how I feel about the Sig lol. All the 365s feel gross in the hand to me. 43x feels like it doesn't want me to put it down.
>>
>>64431071
Yea, it's definitely preference lol. I have to do so much to a Glock to make it palatable to my hands

New Glock meme just dropped
>>
Glocks are considered an industry standard, while being a contrarian is common here.

Changing the design significantly means they are no longer the firearm highly recommended for decades. Instead they are a new design that must prove itself.
After giving them away at just above cost to police departments for decades to build up market saturation and recognition this undoes all that achieved.

Gaston Glock not even dead 2 years and the most iconic handgun brand already falling apart.
>>
>>64431512
Dont have a problem with the rxm. glock brand glocks are jammy as fuck.

I mean you didn't really, otherwise you would have gotten a more affordable version of the pistol instead of glock name brand mark up.

Seen several videos now that source contacts in Glock that say the trigger housing, extractor, internal slide milling, and obviously the trigger bar will no longer be compatible with earlier generations.

That had to be expensive for Glock to change everything. Or maybe they will only change a couple parts in each pistol. Fuckin retard ed

I get making fun of Glock fanboys and all as I love to make fun of fan it's myself, but making a cuck porn meme? Why?

As gay as this shit is, if you really want it, it doesn't affect the functionality of the previous gens and parts availability will still be high for the forseeable future, especially gen 3.

they sold out fucking instantly and I GUARANTEE some faggots bought a bunch at once to resell esp. now that the one gun per month thing is gone, I fucking hate the gun community so much, everyone is just trying to get one up on everyone else for no fucking reason.
glock immediately fucking caved to faggotfornia instead of fighting that shit, Bruen common use is right fucking there since every cop in the country carries a glock, but those faggots don't care either because they're exempt from every gun law ever

how do you think about buying a gun for 3 months

If you need to save 3 months for a $600 gun in 2025 just buy a glock 19/rxm/dagger and be done with it. You barely have money for ammo to train, let alone 10mm or a variety of guns.

Protecting your life is important but having a life worth protecting comes first, and being a broke retard with half your net worth in guns isn't how you get there.

There was a Gen 4 G40 MOS on sale at PSA for only $499.99 a few days ago. I think it's up to $549.99 now. Still a great deal although the MOS shit on Glocks leave a lot to be desired. I was thinking of getting myself just to have a 10mm, but the MOS finickyness made me not pull the trigger on it. That and I also just bought a Walther P99 AS Final Edition for $569 and couldn't justify buying another firearm again so soon.

NTA but poorons are REALLY into NOT standardizing calibers, I did this to when I was poorer/newer into guns. Not having a single gun that shares a single caliber because you are into 15 different meme ideas about being le BASED guy who has an XYZ caliber gun is just retarded especially if you can't even afford to shoot to begin with. Just let them be stupid, there is no fixing the moronic until they want to fix themselves
>>
So is my g19 Gen 4 fucked? No more slides or parts to replace for wear and tear? Grim
>>
Probably lots of quiet cases you don't hear about. In my poor college days and living in a shithole I bought a used glock and shot it twice then left it in a drawer for 5 years.

The problem is 9mm is fucking boring to shoot. People get memed by advice from self-proclaimed gun experts who tell them that they should only buy a G19 and Aero AR, and then spend the rest of their budget on optics and range ammo. Just let people buy what they want within reason.

>t. harley and hemi truck owner

>>64434100
The vast majority of the population doesn't have a deep understanding of litigation.

The average adult at most has vague ideas about things (as in they make assumptions about some of the basic and obvious stuff which is sometimes largely right), but if someone actually knows this shit just half decently, then it's either because they're a law student, or they're an autist of some sort and their train fixation is on law and litigation.

Basically, if someone doesn't actually work in law in some capacity, or aren't studying towards it, they are very unlikely to know how any of this shit works in detail. Hell, some people working law don't really know either, and you gotta watch out for those bullshitters if you're looking for an attorney.

the youngest boomer is 60 years old. the majority are in their 70s. They have been dying off like flies for a decade now, millennials already outnumber them. within 20 years they will be statistically irrelevant as a generation.

>>64436579
The worst ones live into their 90s. The older they get the more wretched they become.

and the average lifespan in the country is about 78. for every boomer that makes it to 90, a dozen die at 67. that's how it works.

It's not their fault. The legislators are coming after them and they are producing and alternative. They are a company trying to sell you a product.

The pistols are readily convertible to full auto, so are:
>-all Ar-15s using a coat hanger or sear
>-all AK-47s using a literal peice of fucking string
>-all ruger 10 22s by filing down a notch on the auto bolt release
>ect

Anything is readily convertible to anything , you need to be mad at your state legislators for once again using a buzzword to take your rights away just becuase something is being used by criminals.

You could buy a blank firing pistol from Turkey, no paper work, bore out the barrel and put a cheap 32. rifled liner from Ali baba and you have readily converted your non gun into a gun. The crime can not be that it's readily convertible and if it is then that term needs tightening
>can you turn a screw and it now shoots full auto
Readily convertible
>can you shove a paper clip into it and it shoots full auto
Readily convertible
>can you stick crazy glue to a part and it shoots full auto
Readily convertible
These should be the definitions

If I've got to buy a 3d printer or buy something of ali baba to "readily convert" it, it's not very ready from point of purchase.

You need to actually email legislators or eventually your ar15 lowers will be sold as a sealed unit with a cassette firing control unit and you will have to send it of for maintenance as you are unable to open it as it is encased in hard resin and plastic so it isnt readily convertible.
>>
>>64436740
>cancel half their models in Jun 25
>tell their dealers they'll stop selling everything except one specific model and its variants on 30 Nov 25
>tell their dealers they'll start shipping all new models on 1 Dec 25
They didn't just spin up a design, prototyping, testing, tooling, mass production capability, marketing, and inventory for shipment in a month. They've been planning this for a while. Maybe they planned on doing it next year and Newsom forced their hand. They probably started this the day Gaston kicked the bucket, his conviction in his design meant even though the market was flooded with clones of it they couldn't do anything since the patents were expired.

S&W got a lot of shit for something like selling guns with child locks or something and Ruger burned a lot of bridges with their hi cap dude magazine policy. All the companies from gear to flashlights to guns should cut off any anti gun state. When I lived in MD Beretta threatened to move if they passed some gay gun law and the state was like “go ahead” so they only care if they can’t arm their enforcers.
