I'm waiting for a fucking permit from the police to obtain a pistol. I just want something to practise with, so it has to be reasonably durable (I'll probably shoot 2-3 thousand rounds per year)Here are my options:1. Canik TP9 SFX for 770$2. Arex Delta L for 730$3. CZ P10F for 860$Glock 17 is already expensive for me at 900$ and i hate the trigger, so it would cost me even more as i would have to get it smoother.
>>64427917>I'm waiting for a fucking permit from the police to obtain a pistolThat sounds like it sucks, I'm sorry to hear that.
>>64427917I would say get a 92fs or a Walther, but Ive head nothing but nice things about the Arex and you cant argue with the price. What it really boils down to is did you get to hold them and see how they fit your hand?
>>64427917>canik for $700When did these launch up in price? I remember them being like $450, do guntoobers really ruin the market like that?
>>64427917>I'll probably shoot 2-3 thousand rounds per year>Glock 17 is already expensive for me at 900$From what you are telling us, we can infer that you will not be shooting 2-3k rounds per year. People who complain about the price of guns (especially guns that are less than $1k) rarely shoot more than 500 rounds a year.BTW, out of your list, I kind of like the Arex, but you can't go wrong with any of those options.>>64428013From context clues you should have been able to figure out that he's not in the mainland of the US. Countries with different regulations set different prices.
>>644279172000 round is not a lot, what distance will you be from the target?
>>64427917dont get the ugly roach gun, get the arex or the cz
1911
>>64427940This sounds like Czech republic and it's not really pain in the ass.
>>64427940Brother you can't even imagine. I had to become a member of a sport shooting club, be checked by the clubs doctor, participate in at least 3 precision shooting competitions, have a medical exam in a state hospital, buy a metal safe, have a police officer come to my home to see the safe and have a conversation with me, get a confirmation from a court that i haven't been convicted and pay some special government tax.. We can only get a pistol for sport, there is a ban on firearma for self defense
>>64427953I've only had a chance to hold (and shoot) the cz. It feels good in my hand and the texturing on the grip is aggressive i feel like i would be able to shoot it with one hand relatively fast. Which i couldn't do because that stuff is forbidden at the range
>>64430780>buying a pistol for sportDefinitely a 1911 then, even the stock trigger is great, Browning was a magician. >>64430749Indeed. Two world wars.
>>64430806The only available 1911 in my country is Taurus. And it costs about 1200$
>>64427917Wtf i keep that exact tp9sfx in my glove box. Hate to color of the slide im probably going to rattle can the whole gun. Its actually a nice shooter. My first and only turk gun
>>64430795Try to hold the other two but it sounds like the CZ works for you
>>64430780Honestly, if I could only have a pistol for target shooting, I wouldn't buy an 9mm, I would get a .22lr. What kind of shooting are you planning on? If just static targets, a used .22 target pistol will be so much better than a 9mm duty-style pistol. Just casually plinking at paper gets boring and feels pointless really quickly. An actual target pistol let's you compete, which is more fun to do. Even if you're bad, it's more fun and makes practicing more fulfilling. All of the above doesn't matter if you're planning on doing IPSC. In that case, I like the Canik out of your three options.
>>64432437This.
>>64427917I have the sfx. Im more accurate with it than any other handgun I've owned - including a german sig xfive. Not sure why - it just seems to balance well and the trigger suits me. But muzzle rise is less than ideal - subjectively worse than my glock 19, dunno why. There's no "which one is best" with handguns. There's which one is best for you. If you can, shoot all three over a few weeks, and then compare groups.
>>64430780damn nigga, what country?
