Most of the crimes that have been reported in places I go in my city have involved knives, machetes, and hatchets. There have been zero reported incidents of nogs with giggle switches. Here's a pic of the gun from a recent armed robbery.

If you find yourself in the 1% of the time that you actually need to reload a revolver, they are probably running away and you no longer need to keep shooting. If they don't run away, an auto probably wouldn't have made a difference, after the time it takes to miss 5 shots, they will have probably hit you by then.

>>64432272Personally I find them more comfy in general. In pocket or on the belt. They tend to be lighter when fully loaded. You have to remember that only the cylinder is wider than an auto, everything else is quite a bit thinner. If you are happy with your shield, there's no reason to switch to a J frame. Some people also shoot revolvers better than autos, like me. Personally, if I am gonna carry a gun with so few rounds, I may as well use a revolver and have a more reliable gun. (Unless you are talking about a shield plus and not a regular shield. Those have enough of a capacity advantage that I would take the reliability hit.)
