Considering the slow production rate of the meteor, new users of typhoon definitely won't get the meteor missiles. A jet like typhoon without BVR missiles won't do much in the coming years, right?
>>
Why would you get a Typhoon but no Meteors? they're cheaper than current AMRAAMs too.

Ask Turkey
>>
If it didn't cross your mind that this would depend on things like who the buyer is, who their potential adversaries are, and what other missiles the buyer may have available then you're clearly too stupid to keep up with any decent answer to this question.

>Second hand
Those? They can acquire the ordnance if it isn't included. Unless there's an official statement of Turkey not getting Meteors from any source then it's all guessing.

Meteor integration on F-35B delayed from 2027 to early 2030s as well
>>
>>64433939
They don't seem to have problems for the clients of the Rafale-Typhoon.
The only problem of the Meteor in current year is Lockheed Martin not fulfilling the agreement on time for integration in the JSF F-35. That's literally its only problem as a weapon.

I'm glad Pakistan shot down that Indian Rafale so we don't have to talk about Euroshit anymore

A big problem is meteors simply aren't being produced at the rate needed.

MBDA doesn't publish production figures for the Meteor, but an educated guess puts the current production rate at ~5-10 missiles per month with the current ramp-up in production likely looking to go to ~25-35 missiles per month.

>Lockheed Martin not fulfilling the agreement on time for integration in the JSF F-35

It's not just lockheed, it's the Joint Programme Office for the F-35 program that's responsible for scheduling/coordinating integration testing within the prime contractor's (lockheed's) schedule.

The JPO has been bumping integration testing slots, likely in favor of US missiles like the AIM-260 in a bid to push it through IOC and into FRP.

It's not just Meteor that's getting bumped, Spear3 is facing similar delays.

Sure is cold in Texas Oblast, better warm up at your local warm water port.

While production likely has ramped up, it's likely not at the pace they need/want yet and it's still likely less than a dozen or two per month.

What matters is the waiting time, MBDA clients don't seem to have to wait a lot...
>The supply contract was signed in November 2024. With this contract, 100 missiles are planned for the first batch of 20 KF-21 being produced
>This acquisition aligns with the current schedule, which began in July with the production of 20 KF-21 units, with the first expected to be handed over to the South Korean Air Force by late 2026.
Less than 2 years to receive them. SK preferred the Meteor for their new fighter. Gripen users are ordering the Meteor.
>>
>>64435346
In all likelihood, south korea will be getting 10-20 missiles in 2026 with more to follow later.

They're not sending them 100 missiles all at once.
