I'm about to downsize my collection . For my next move I'm thinking about a integrally suppressed AR. Information seemed limited but all the builders look like high quality brand names.

Benefits over attached V. integrally build are:
a. Higher accuracy, due to zero harmonic effect
b. greater gas capture, and noise damper
c. OA shorter rifle system

Brands
KGM isurg - integrally suppressed upper receiver group $1,750 MSRP https://kgm-tech.com/556-integral/

Daniel Defense DDM4ISR $3,830.00 https://danieldefense.com/ddm4-isr.html

YMH Turbo Integral Suppressed Upper Receiver Group 5.56MM $1,399.95 https://yhm.net/556-suppressors/turbo-integral-suppressed-upper-receiver-group-5-56mm/

I'm tired of looking up companies. Information is limited on these. So far I am wanting one more and more. Seriously thinking its my next motivation to arrange a purchase,

Okay, keep me posted.

Hell yeah. What are potential drawbacks?
>>
Well is it pronounced
>int eh gruh lee
Or
>int eh gra ly
Which one is right?
You 4chan homos will argue about anything.

a) false. there's no such thing as "zero harmonics". Every barrel has harmonics, even a bull barrel with no suppressor. An integrally suppressed barrel is not necessarily any more accurate than a traditionally suppressed one.
b. Also false.
c. true

You can't take the can off and put it on a different gun. Cleaning becomes a bigger hassle. Integral suppressors usually bleed off velocity, though it depends on the exact design.

>Hell yeah. What are potential drawbacks?
When you burn out the barrel you cant easily replace it. There arent really any benefits, which is why you never really see them.
>>

My only experience with integral suppressors was in mp5s. Having a regular mp5 and suppressor it was not only quieter but also more accurate. It also didnt limit ammo choices and didnt reduce fps. Most integrally suppressed guns use extremely dated suppressor designs too which suck ass. Dont let me stop you though op
>>
>>64437169
the DD looks big titties I'd do that one. plus wouldn't 300blk be better overall for suppression anyways?
watching their video on it they said it has a removable and cleanable baffle system, so unless youre on purpose trying to get it as hot as possible over and over again it would probably last a decent amount of rounds.
do that one.

>suppressor that is permanently attached to a gun

Just get a reflex suppressor. Sadly they are uncommon, and with one drawback, handguard ID/barrel OD restrictions and things like gas block interference on automatics.
>>
>>64437829
reflex designs don't help that much
>>
>>64437169
The main reason for this is that it is far more economical to purchase one suppressor that can be used on multiple builds. Getting an integrated is all of the downsides of a can without the pros (due to laws, not design).

Idk, I like my suppressed SBR. I like being able to remove the can. I like being able to swap a full length barrel in. I know LMT has had QC misses recently but mine has been perfect.
>>
>>64437829
They're uncommon because they suck and are in no way a replacement or alternative to integral suppressors

this. OP is a confirmed SIGGER

>zero harmonic effect
you misinterpreted that of course ever barrel has harmonics you blaring geek retarded trivial fuck

suppressor's huge draw back is added harmonics effects with the suppressor integral there is in fact zero harmonics added to the rifle's harmonics you drooling dumb fuck

why even argue with you past that part?

you are the AACCHEEWUALLY meme
>>
>>64439751
God you sound fucking stupid and you probably don't even realize it.
>>
>>64439751
I'm not the anon who got short with you so please spare me the retribution.
any time any mass is added or removed from the barrel, integral silencer or not, the barrel harmonics are affected
is it possible that integral silencers, being generally of greater mass than muzzle mounted silencers, cause the barrel to move less while shooting? Sure. Does it honestly make much of difference? No. You zero the rifle with the can and go have a snack. If you remove the can and you're worried about zero you check it and rezero if necessary.
different cartridges can affect your zero. it's not that big of deal unless you're trying to be as precise as possible.
>>
>>64439751
You don’t “add” harmonics you fucking retarded nophysics
>>
Harmonics are so far down the list of things that matter on an SBR it's basically not worth consideration. Your suppressed short barrel carbine isn't a precision rifle bro. At barrel lengths like the ones were talking about here, harmonics are a nonfactor.
>>
>>64437169
I don’t know how they work on other firearms but the Mp5sd gets insanely dirty after 500 rounds. Detachable seems more convenient but integrally is insanely cool.
