Here's a channel with golden eagle falconry in California.

Yes. Eagles are hard because they're big, expensive, and not the fastest. Very strong though. They're birds for experienced falconers.

We've had this thread several times and the consensus always comes down to this.
1. Trained eagles spot jets
2. Jeets try to shoot down jet spotting eagles
3. Miniaturized tapirs strapped to jet spotting eagles to sniff out and provide early warning of jet spotting eagle shooting jeets
4. Sniffed out jet spotting eagle shooting jeets play loud music to upset jet spotting eagle early warning system for jet spotting eagle shooting jeets
4. Minaturized capybaras strapped to minaturized tapirs strapped to jet spotting eagles keeps the jet spotting eagle jeet sniffing system calm so it can warn the jet spotting eagle of any jet spotting eagle shooting down jeets

Hmm, interesting.
I figured as autistic as the government is about eagles (“noooooooooo, you can’t keep that feather you found unless you’re Indian!”) that that would extend to falconry. Good to know.

Oh, you're going to jail if you use a bald eagle, but there's more types of eagle than just that. Golden eagles can be used, but getting one requires some very specific circumstances. From what I've heard, most are imports from abroad. Their owner moves to the US with them, and then something happens and the owner has to pass them along to someone else.

...What are you even asking. That's literally a thing people have done for thousands of years. It's not just possible. It exists. There are already at this very moment eagles trained to hunt drones.
