How exactly are glocks "reliable"? Why do people keep saying this?It wont even have the same reliability anymore if you swap out all the parts that were in the reliability tests.>have to aim up>polymer pos>trigger has to be pulled way too far back and forward>rattles like a 20 year old military m9 that had no maintenance>having to swap out parts makes it so that they aren't even in the cheap anymore
What handgun isn’t considered reliable these days
some people have trouble admitting that certain things are popular just because they are cheap`
>>64445333They're built really loose so you don't have to clean them much. That's it. Any other handgun with similar dimensions will also just run because it's really hard to gum up the works.
>>64445333>It wont even have the same reliability anymore if you swap out all the parts that were in the reliability tests.ok so dont do this? and the rest of your post was skill issues
>>64445355You can definitely still find some pieces of shit, but when even Taurus guns can go tens of thousands of rounds with minimal care, the standard has just gone up
its a pos you need to dump hundreds in parts on to get a decent shooting experience youd get out of the box with any other sightly more expensive gun
Because they were told it was reliable and glockfags will call you retarded, gay, and schizophrenic if you post any of the many videos of police glocks jamming
>>64446387Police Glocks jam because they aren't cleaned or maintained. It's always a Glock because almost all Police use Glock. If dirt collects in the striker channel then it will light strike the primer. Most people don't clean the striker channel, or even know that you need to, especially cops, who carry a lot but shoot almost never. Any gun is susceptible to this although to what degree is an open question. Unless Glock is predisposed to ingest dirt more than other guns like M&P I don't see how this is a fair criticism.
hey its the guy who is trying really really hard to force what /k/ thinks
>>64445333You're in a frog poster spam thread
A lot of it comes down to the chamber which isn't entirely supported (shown left). This is mostly a problem for handloaders because it bulges brass on high pressure chamberings ("Glock Bulge") and (theoretically) limits the PSI of your handloads
>>64446387I noticed this as well. I also see it quite a bit in competition shooting.
>>64445333retard>have to aim upwhat>polymer posThat's literally every modern handgun>trigger has to be pulled way too far back and forwardwhat>rattles like a 20 year old military m9 that had no maintenancethat's literally every modern handgun>having to swap out parts makes it so that they aren't even in the cheap anymoreso don't swap out parts, easyhope that answers your question, retard
>>64446755>A lot of it comes down to the chamberNo it's not.>This is mostly a problem for handloadersNo, it's not. Most pistol chambers are not fully supported. This is literally only a problem for absolute retards who try to push 10mm energy in .40. Nobody ever says the USP is unrealiable, and everyone says it can run .45 Super right out the factory. It does not have a fully supported chamber. Chamber support has nothing to do with reliability, and barely anything to do with retards blowing their guns up, since you'll find most of those asshats nowadays are running aftermarket fully supported barrels anyway.
>>64447544>That's literally every modern handgunnot even close pussy
>>64447588>100 years out of date>modernno
>>64447544Keep using glock polymer block slop and glock slop is all you'll be familiar with.
>>64447921I don't own a glock.
>>64445333>have to aim upElaborate, because I don't know what the fuck you're talking about>polymer posIt's ok to prefer metal frame guns anon. It's retarded to say a polymer frame means it's a pos. >trigger has to be pulled way too far back and forwardNot really>rattles like a 20 year old military m9 that had no maintenanceIf you actually shoot, you'd know that doesn't matter in the slightest. >having to swap out parts makes it so that they aren't even in the cheap anymoreYou type like you're ESL, and your opinion is retarded. I don't even consider myself a Glock fan, but to pretend they're anything but reliable is disingenuous at best. If you can't shoot a Glock, you just can't shoot. Sorry anon.
>>64445333they can shoot under water
>>64449658Aiming up is a meme mane all you do to counter that is when you're holding the pipe rotate it 90 degrees before clappin
>Frogpost>Dumb, bad & wrong noguns thread
>>64449678A lot of guns can. It's still a stupid idea to do that
