Range control also told us they sometimes see people on the range but never are able to confront them because they’re gone by the time they get close. That was probably the weirdest thing I’ve seen up close, the rest of the bizarre shit was all in the air either while I was deployed or just training. Things just zipping around and arbitrarily changing directions or hovering. I’ve seen whatever the hovering black triangle is, it does indeed hover and is a black triangle. When I was at Riley I would have some bizarre dreams though. One of the more consistent ones was just standing in a field overlooking the plains watching these janky wooden tower structures either sway in the breeze or slowly sort of crawl forward. Kinda reminded me of some shitty shanty town structures, very rudimentary construction but impossibly tall. Some of them had what looked like cloth bags on the highest platform, in every dream there were always birds circling each tower. Turns out some of the plains injuns used to bury their dead on towers like that, believing it would bring them closer to their sun god. I learned that maybe a year after I left, I’ll post one of my sketches later if I can find my Riley notebook lol
