>>64447952>>64447959Not to shoot you down but this would have the same muzzle velocity as 7.5 FK and similar energy at the muzzle

>>64447952A more complicated british flavored mataeba
>>64448178And give it the Von Steiger ejector so all you have to do is put new rounds in when empty. A more complicated and stupid desert eagle
>>64448117Flip detected.
>>64448079It's actually this onehttps://youtu.be/zbKoDcsPGIk
>>64448200The only thing I share with any flip is a name, no blood.
shoulder fired mortar
>>64448263I have a better explosive delivery system in mind.
Basically a suppressed 45-70 semiautomatic shooting the heaviest 45-70 you can get. Pic related would be like a vintorez except the projectile would have 3x the energy.
>>64448263This is awesome
>>64448131Sights? What for in this case? You'd hip fire it at point blank.
>>64448393>You'd hip fire it at point blank.Says who? There's no unspoken rule that says you have to wait until somebody's close enough to kick your ass to draw on them.
>>64448263>>64448346Somewhat ommon sight in Ukraine nowadaysDrones make better use of ordinary cummulative shells and mortar hefrag works better ahainst anything else
>>64447959so kinda like
>>64447952Kinda seeing where you're going with it.>>64447984If chambered for .300BLK like the original concept for that magazine, most likely. Though it would probably be a very fun and loud blaster. Potentially though, something like this could be used to make somewhat slimmer grips for long Magnum cartridges such as .45 WinMag and .50 Action Express, and then also optimizing a bit for barrel length.I think OP's idea might have some merit.>>64448079Is that an older pic, or are you building a second one of those pistols?
>>64447984It would be around 5-10% more powerful than 7.5 with a 6" barrel and that gap would increase with barrel length. The biggest problem would be dealing with the bullets unseating, that's a lot of distance to cover in a short amount of time. Maybe some kind of clockwork could be added to limit the cycling speed.>>64448656Yes, except with an actual chamber because I know how guns work.
>>64447959damn
>>64448131Bond Arms makes a bunch of .410 derringers.
>>64449157>clockworkFuck off with your mountain German space magic.
>>64448479Aiming? With a .410 derringer?
>>64449219Maybe there's another way to do it, but what we need here is to apply an unchanged amount of power over an increased period of time, and an escape wheel is the mechanical linkage that's designed to do just that.
I want a .25 ACP bullet hose for conceal carry
>>64449171Their downside is they weigh as much as a compact 9
A beretta 90 series with a plastic frame and a steel frame with the option of adding tungsten inserts. The cyclic mass of the slide is reduced as much as possible to decrease the effect of the slide on muzzle rise. I would also move the decocker back to the frame. The gun would be DA/SA decocker only or SA manual safety. Holes would be dripped in the frame for an optic rail above the slide. Basically a CZ-75 beretta 90 series. options would also include porting, threading, and frame mounted compensators
>>64448079Would be diamond video content REDDITOR (you)

>>64449918An early attempt at making an ultra-reliable and ultra-cheap full-auto-only open bolt firing assault rifle for the South Vietnamese army.Got killed off early in testing when the prototypes proved less reliable than than M16s, and the South Vietnamese army was already pretty much defeated.
>>64449171Yeah and they look FUCKING UGLY.
>>64449918>>64449924Forgot to mention it, but it was called the TRW Low Maintenance Rifle.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRW_Low_Maintenance_Rifle

Over 9000 hours to hand draw a rough sketch of an idea I had for a folding chassis that telescopes the barreled action for a further decrease to OAL when folded
>>64449959Failed to upload the first time
>>64449959Make it
>>64449987I might make a mockup proof of concept kind of thing. I'm curious to see how much you can actually telescope the barreled action reasonably and if it will make much of a difference at all compared to just a regular folding stock

>>64453045so where does the bolt/buffer tube go on>>64452528if it's a DI in a vaguely AR pattern
>>64447952RSh-12 in .50 Beowulf. Can be accompanied by ShAK-12 version too.
>>64453156it doesn't have a buffer tube. bufferless DI guns exist, there's nothing about a DI gas system that necessitates a buffer tube. picrel, cmmg dissent DI carrier.if you really want to, you could make the carrier larger in diameter so it has the same mass as a normal AR carrier.
>>64453219is there a meaningful difference between 50 beo and the 12.7 cartridge it already uses?also why not use 500 magnum instead? the rebated rim of .50 beo would make the cylinder janky.also it performs basically the same as 500 magnum
>muzzle loaded>integral suppressor>6 o' clock barrel>quick swap cylinderfun fact: suppressors on muzzle loaders are not regulated by the NFA,because muzzle loaders themselves are not considered firearms(silencerco maxim 50 for example)therefore, you could theoretically ship a suppressed muzzle loaded revolver directly to your door, totally unregulated.with a quick swap cylinder, it would reload faster than a normal revolver.probably as fast as a normal mag fed pistol.
>>64453664>is there a meaningful difference between 50 beo and the 12.7 cartridge it already uses?About 13mm in length>why not use 500 magnum instead? Why not, either way works for me, as long it's not some russian unobtanium.I just want a lower cylinder fired .50
>>6445429412.7 is .50 in metric. not sure what you meant by "about 13mm", they're the same diameter.
>>64454313In length, genius. .50 Beowulf is 12,7x42mm, STs-130 is 12.7×55mm
>>64454294>I just want a lower cylinder fired .50No thanks, I'll keep my digits.
>>64454342chiappas explode because they're shitty.ur gonna lose a digit no matter what if a pistol goes boom.
Made this ages ago
>>64454916no stock? two gas pedals? why?
>>64447952i like ar pistols but they're way too big so behold my creation

>>64455176that isn't a new idea at all
>>64455223its so bulky though, i was thinking of something more compact
>>64455096YOU HAVE TWO THUMBS, DONTCHA?
>>64455328yeah and they're attached to my hands. no way you could reach that pedal with your shooting thumb
>>64454226It would need to have a mechanism similar to a Nagant to create a gas seal.
>>64455693thats just a little cam on the trigger that pushes the spring loaded cylinder forwards. 0 extra parts required, the cylinder would already have to be spring loaded so that it can eject when reloading, like a double barrel shotgun.
>>64447952of all guns that should have been a bullpup, the calico is not one of them.
>>64455885the mag goes on the bottom
