Most beautiful handgun ever, in my opinion.

The man holding it must have gigantic bear paws. It looks like an M1934.

What is /k/'s opinion on the new beretta pistol models? I think they are all single action only.

Forward trigger is for semi auto fire, rear trigger is for full auto.
I guess why have a selector when you can just have 2 triggers instead? Given how familiar Italians would have been with shotguns I reckon it makes some sense.

Here's a personal favorite for me. A SOCIMI AR-831, basically a casette-futurist take on an M16A1

Seems like Italians really like adapting the AR-15 to whatever aesthetic was trendy at the time. Cf. ARX100 for the comfy GWOT Windows XP/7 Aero look and NARP for whatever the current fashion is now.
>>
>>64450508
I feel that Italian weapon designers and engineers as a whole factor aesthetics into everything they make. There aren't a whole lot of truly ugly Italian firearms that I know of.

True, but it is more of an exception rather than the rule. A lot of their older WW1/WW2 designs suffered purely out of necessity. They couldn't spare the time to make them look pretty with limited resources, little industrial capacity and multiple wars to fight.
>>
Another absolute stunner, the Beretta Mod. 90 "Roma". Gotta knife fight collectors on GunBroker just for a magazine, let alone the gun itself.

I like it. The Glisenti has a charm of it's own, although soldiers accidentally loading it with 9mm Parabellum was a recurring problem.

Kind of love-or-hate on the Benelli B-76, but I dig the departure from tradition. LGS has one for sale but it is far too expensive for me.

Why does Mr. Bean have a gun?

Does anyone have one of those 6" 10mm tanfos that EAA used to import as the "witness hunter"?

I've been lusting after one for years.

Considering how really hideous a lot of early autos were, the Glisenti is not at all that unattractive.

They're really comfy.
if it did not have an insatiable lust for the Sterling SMG , the M-12 would be a very close runner up.

The Japanese Carcanos are awesome and well made for a Carcano. I would probably buy a regular Carcano of i could find a Beretta made one.

Is that that weird auto that loaded .357 mag for some reason? Was it a colt thing? what was it called coonan? Not great, but sorta unique.

Italians, while short, have massive mitts and fat rigatoni fingers. The beretta m9 was built with this in mind. I myself am of Italian descent and only 5’8, yet the m9 fits me like a glove. It’s actually my ccw lmao.
