What are some of the more worthwhile and or innovative things to come out of shot show?
>>64452226Nothing in the past has been good
PSA will show off conceptually cool things but fail to deliver as always
Franklin Armory will continue to play a cringe game of “I’m not touching you” with the ATF and get their pp slapped. Again.

>>64452226Upcoming or past? Someone granted my wish of a standalone clone of the P&W silencer cage that Tacsol only makes available on one barrel already P&W'd. Cage is actually big enough that it accepts silencers of reasonable size unlike the Tacsol ~1.1" ID (Kryon could actually be offered in two sizes IMO as the Kryon is a bit big for some silencers). Outer tube oddly isn't P&W'd to the base from the factory which I feel they should offer. Actually allows access at the base just like I said it should. Aaaaaand right at the same time we get $0 NFA stamps. Keeps your rifles from being SBRs though so that's nice if it's something you intend to use out of state but between the cost of the product and the P&W you may actually save money registering an SBR even if it costs $200.
>>64452226Also Novox's integrally suppressed barrels. I believe they said the base gun with the barrel and shroud were non-NFA. The silencer that goes on the end and uses the shroud over the barrel for additional expansion room is the NFA part. No clue if it ever came out.
>>64452226And Tippmann teased this 20 y/o prototype of a .380 pistol version of a visible loader that had a fucking loading gate but I don't think it got enough hype for them to consider actually releasing it. Big shame.
>>64455136So, my Vortex rep recently started carrying those. We should be getting some at our shop soon. Only damn near a year after they were announced lol. They are still leaning hard into the heat shield idea. There's the 1/2x28 direct thread version that is pin and weldable, and it looks like the version that runs under a QD muzzle device is g2g if you pin the muzzle device. They do also have sections you can thread on to the end to extend it, but I havent seen one in person yet to see if those are pinnable. The base section is available in different lengths, so you could pin a minimum size on, then add more sections if you happen to use a longer can.
As for shot, I'm gonna be going by B&Ts booth to fondle that kh9b. We will see what else they have up there, I bet the dumbass with the vss isn't there this time lol.
>>64452226Hopefully something cool from HK USA. I've heard rumors of a scorpion EVO 4 and that it won't be direct blowback
>>64455205Have one in person. Base is dimpled for a pin in the direction of the barrel for the screw-on tube which unless I'm retarded I don't see how that meets P&W requirements as you'd need a fat ass pin to meet the torque recommendations so it doesn't just deform the thin spot it was put in. Their how-to video was lacking to say the least. Base is pinnable and dimpled as expected for barrel attachment. I think it came with two Kryon stickers with some fancy fiber reinforced custom printed Kryon paper tape on the Priority Mail box it shipped in. The sleeve over the product box is a bitch to remove without destroying it or just peeling the seam apart. I don't see how the added extensions could be pinned but I could just be retarded.
>>64455231The only thing cool at the hk booth is the mp7s, g36s, and grenade launchers they bring to hang on the wall. They are too busy trying to make the cc9 and vp9a1 a thing. (Wasn't anything worth taking a pic of last year and I even sat with my rep making our HK stocking dealer order in their booth for a while, so have the FN MG thing)
>>64452243>"VOTE ON LE NEXT COOL GUN">like 3 cool designs and then a run of the mill striker 9 and AR>striker 9 or AR win
>>64455271Shit, meant this pic. Although that thing was pretty interesting too, but just a proof of concept.
>>64452226Nothing>Still no FNC and PM-12 imports>Still no Daewoo>US Made SVD still unreleased >US Made Type 100 still unreleased>PSA MP7 knockoff still vaporware>VSS was an obvious methhead scam
>>64455938Man I really hope that we get Daewoos. I don't know if I really even need one anymore but I was hoping to set one up with a scope and a silencer since they have adjustable gas. The folding stock would make it nice for hunting; you don't realize how nice that is until you have one.

>>64455938What happened to the VSS guy anyhow? Haven't heard on it in a few months. Last I saw was some shityy cast iron something or others
>>64455938>US Made Type 100 still unreleasedIIRC he also teased a future improved (more accurate) version in the future for slightly more $ than the current model. I just hope he doesn't Osborne his own ass where everyone holds out for the nicer model and he struggles to get cash to continue the project because of it.
>>64459890He has details on his site;>Modernized Carbine / SBR: A modern take on a World War II classic, inspired by "alternative timeline" fiction / fantasy>Release: TBD>MSRP: Approximately $1,750 USD for Base Model>Caliber: 9x19mm>Barrel Lengths: 12", 16" threaded or unthreaded, Novox Research X-SD Integral Suppression Conversion Barrel & Device>Magazines: Scorpion EVO >Stock: 3D Printed Nylon Carbon Fiber or CNC Aluminum Chassis, with several customization options available.>Customization Options: Metal Finish (Nickel, Cerakote, etc), Engraving, Ban State Compliance, Non-Permanent and Semi Permanent Optic and Accessory Mounts>Bayonet Lug: Optional, depending on ban state compliance. Replica bayonet included with lug.For me, the point is to clone the type 100 so it doesn't really interest me. I'm going with the 7.62 tok SBR version.
