got my first soviet blaster last week and shot it first time today
>production 1953
>military refurb 1977
>lots of extra goodies: 4 mags, firing pins, rollers, springs, etc.
felt pretty good and made a really nice group first try
only problem is the safety fucking up my thumb webbing with my usual grip. Might look into removing it somehow (the safety, not my thumb)
didn't shoot a lot tho. 7.62 tok is hard as hell to come by where I am, so for the moment the only ammo for it I have is the 5 packs I got with it

of course I fucked up the pic
>>
main reason I got it was the unique action
also being able to compete in .32 caliber (if I manage to find more ammo)

That's great, don't forget to dry fire it a lot, those firing pins are not brittle as fuck at all. Also use the decocker often, it's not like the decocker acts like a second trigger when contact surfaces are worn out.
>>
neat, they are cool guns and fun for collecting for sure. shooting its ok; i prefer a tt33 style though
>>

I know the pins are brittle. Looks like the previous owner did too since he changed it
still not gonna dry fire till I get a snapcap printed for it
>decocker
it doesn't have a decocker, anon

I wouldn't have said no to one. It's a classic. But roller-locked action is what really made me buy it
>>
>>64454615
its a nifty design for sure; the best?? meh, but it works for what it is. ammo is pricey now so i wouldnt shoot it alot personally. its almost cheaper to get 5.7 these days

cz52 looks cool and is mechanically interesting but the ergos are balls
>>
>>64454600
Push the safety lever up towards the slide... thank me later.. or not.. don't use it.
>>
>>64454600
it works as one lol
>>
>>64454654
lol
how tf did I not know that? don't think I'll be using it. Didn't feel quite as mechanically safe as on my m9

it's interesting and different

What the fuck is up with Czechs and making guns that aren't safe to dry fire
>>
>>64454667
Be aware that Kratochvíl brothers designed that pistol to fire 9mm and then, the soviets came. Check the slide for cracks after firing and inspect the rollers, if the rollers seems oblong it's because they are and you need to replace them or the slide will crack for sure.

We are so cool when it comes to firearms that we don't need to dryfire at all, we just shoot for real all the time..
>>
>>64454730
read up on that as well before I bought it
but thanks for the warning!
(un)luckily I won't be firing it as much as I want since 7.62 seems to be dried up completely where I'm at

The only thing you need to replace when you want to convert it to 9mm is the barrel. There will be a lot of failures to feed of course, because the magazine is long as fuck for the 9mm but the pistol will shoot, but look how thin the barrel is... it's amazing.

didn't know that actually. Might look into that
