Hey did you guys know that old sig p226s in 40 sw are like 300 dollars right now k bros?? I know 40 is being abandoned or whatever and I got some 9mm guns but id fucking bite on a 40 and any sig 220 series is an amazing gun
>>
220 series aren't amazing guns.
The location of the decocker means that you can unintentionally decock the gun under recoil if you grip it wrong. This is far more likely to happen with cartridges that produce more recoil.
40 SW produces almost twice as much recoil as the 9mm meaning that in addition to being more expensive to shoot the 40sw 226 is going to be less comfortable to shoot.

lots of 40 guns always go on sale for cheap, because no one wants faggot ass 40 lol
and no one wants to do 9 conversions if they're available at all

It's not. Glock abandoned the cartridge, but ammo companies will continue to support the cartridge for a few more decades.

>tfw .40 is $13 a box at my lgs consistently while 9mm is $11
>tfw .40 doesnt have a regular and +p and you can get range ammo that feels and patterns the same as your defensive ammo
I dont understand 9mmcels half the time
