Now that it’s the spoopy season, grab your favorite gun, some hot cocoa and come sit around the camp fire. Let’s tell some /k/ommando related innawoods spoopy stories.

When I was in Yuma AZ for a live fire exercise I'm pretty sure we woke up some old native American spirits. Basically we had finished up with night live fire, the range is cold and most of the company has gone to sleep for the night. I was still up, having a cigarette and just chilling out and enjoying the quiet, and exactly at 12AM/midnight out of nowhere a cacophony of drums and chanting filled the air. A few minutes later, just as suddenly as the music had started, it all ended without a trace, and it was completely silent for the rest of the night, no bugs, wind, birds. Super cool, nobody talked about it the next day, but mostly everyone was fast asleep at that point.

That's real fuggin spoopy. Maybe it was locals doing a little trolling if they knew there would be a training exercise in the area? You never know though.
>>
>>64461296
Yeah I thought about that. There was an indian reservation close by. It had to have been at least a dozen people, probably way more with how loud and coordinated it was. Still it wouldn't have been easy to get out to that training area.
>>
>>64461304
Then that really is spoopy. At least you didn't hear no Wendigo. That would've been wild lol.

I don't poop normally anymore. There's no "I need to poop soon, that was a warning fart, okay gotta find a toilet progression". It just goes from "everything is fine" to "you are going to shit yourself" with no progression in between. It's rather unpleasant, I prefer not having to sprint for the bathroom suddenly. It certainly makes driving long distance more difficult. Hope that's enough of a poopy story for you.

You may need to check with a doctor about that bro.

>be child inna trailer
>german shepherd recently passed away from cancer
>late at night hear barking
>stumble out of bed
>more barking coming from living room
>"Beau?"
>dad wakes up and asks why I'm still awake
>tell him I thought I heard beau
>he sighs and explains that he's gone
>loud crash from bedroom
>run in and see the large cabinet over my bed came down where I was sleeping
>cousin who just moved in stuffed it full of her crap and overloaded it
>dad also finds a bunch of stuff she stole from her friend's house

>be child innatrailerparkwoods
>with my white trash friends exploring
>stumble across a hole with plywood over it
>first to go into pitch black void because free fort
>about six feet deep
>surprisingly complex with several turns but only light is from the entrance
>been exploring for a few minutes when out of the darkness a pair of eyes comes out of the darkness slowly stalking forward
>the vague shape of a massive dog keeps approaching one step at a time
>not growling but definitely not friendly
>sprint back toward the light bouncing off every dirt wall on the way out
>get pulled to safety and swear off that hole
>weeks later my friend Brian got slashed up by a meth head who was living in that hole

I'm feeling the need to go live innawoods like this (after I get a pistol and rifle which I will have to budget for).
>what should I do with my car? I'm thinking find some tall grass to drive it into, cover it with a camo tarp and push the run over grass back up. But I wanna be at >5000ft so it might be a challenge to find a spot.
A scooter or motorcycle would be better all around for innawoods life I suspect. You can take it down a trail.
>I'd like to find a cave no one knows about to live in. Is that unrealistic within the lower 48? Maybe an abandoned hunting cabin.
>>
>>64463732
Anon, I think you should go camping for a weekend before you do all that.
>>
>>64459699
It is Halloween today. Here's a story for you.
>be me, innawoods camping.
>crappy marshlands, so trees are scummy, also it's cold and wet out all the time.
>camp us all set up, do the usual.
>get firewood.
>get tent set up.
>read, bushcraft, shoot some guns.
>night time hits.
>go to bed.
>hear what sounds like leaves rustling all around me for like 20 minutes.
>tired of the noise and cant sleep, so I burst out of the tent with flashlight and handgun.
>look around and spot them.
>a couple of ground squirrels(?) jumping like a bunch of mad cunts in the leaves.
>attacking eachother, throwing eachother into the trunks of trees.
>all while tearing up the forest floor.
>laugh harder than I ever thought possible.

Man you really had to be there to see it. I was worried at first. Like I thought I was being fucked with or stalked. But na. It was a couple of nutty, varmint assholes wrestling eachother in the dead of night.

Fellas there have been roving patrols of ghosts and other creepy things around my neighborhood. What's the best COA to defend my home?
>>
>>64461814
Yep. Check with a GI doc. I have something similar, butt it’s from having most of my descending colon removed cuz colorectal cancer. May have something to do with the biome. There’s a mucus lining above the rectum that is part of the signaling process. If it’s depleted you get less warning.
Or, you have butt cancer. Don’t be an asshole. Get it checked.

Not really a single story, but when I was working night shift security I had all sorts of spooky experiences.
>tired of retail so get a job working night shift as an unarmed guard.
>first post is large 2 building office complex
>2 large 3 story buildings and 2 small parking garages
>had to patrol the outside in a dinky golf cart and walk the buildings every hour.
>when covid hit, people just left their desks as they were, jackets on the back of chairs, note books with half written notes, old fliers for events that never happened etc.
>Just a total ghost town that gave off a real creepy vibe
>over the course of a year or so weird things happen
>hear voices in the halls, rattling noises in the walls, doors slamming, bumps in the night
>Outside was creepy too but that was almost always the coyotes screaming and occasional homeless vagrants sleeping in our grassy areas.
> found out from the site supervisor that a man had died during the construction of the building
>the highway was like 50ft from our front gate and a construction worker got hit
>craziest thing that ever happened was when the building got hit by lightening.
>Fried all our alarm and camera systems and was so loud I almost crapped myself
But like I said, nothing REALLY ever happened, but I'm damn glad they sold the building and transferred me to a day shift office.
>>
>>64463378
>Trespass in a man's fox hole
>surprised he defended himself
Sounds like your friend was the aggressor desu
>>
>>64465805
I swear its always the tiny cute animals that manage to scare you.
>working night shift security
>walking a lap around the property
>listening to creepy story podcast because when in Rome yadda yadda
>go around a blind corner
>little fluffy rabbit come tearing around the corner at mach 5
>Didn't see the bunny at first, what got me was he ran across some gravel and when he changed course he kicked up the rocks which made a sounds similar to a sudden footstep
>jump and scream like a girl thinking that someone just stepped out around the corner to diddle me
>laugh at myself and haul ass back to my car to hide until the next hourly patrol.
