>>64459699When I was in Yuma AZ for a live fire exercise I'm pretty sure we woke up some old native American spirits. Basically we had finished up with night live fire, the range is cold and most of the company has gone to sleep for the night. I was still up, having a cigarette and just chilling out and enjoying the quiet, and exactly at 12AM/midnight out of nowhere a cacophony of drums and chanting filled the air. A few minutes later, just as suddenly as the music had started, it all ended without a trace, and it was completely silent for the rest of the night, no bugs, wind, birds. Super cool, nobody talked about it the next day, but mostly everyone was fast asleep at that point.

Not really a single story, but when I was working night shift security I had all sorts of spooky experiences. >tired of retail so get a job working night shift as an unarmed guard. >first post is large 2 building office complex>2 large 3 story buildings and 2 small parking garages>had to patrol the outside in a dinky golf cart and walk the buildings every hour.>when covid hit, people just left their desks as they were, jackets on the back of chairs, note books with half written notes, old fliers for events that never happened etc. >Just a total ghost town that gave off a real creepy vibe>over the course of a year or so weird things happen >hear voices in the halls, rattling noises in the walls, doors slamming, bumps in the night>Outside was creepy too but that was almost always the coyotes screaming and occasional homeless vagrants sleeping in our grassy areas.> found out from the site supervisor that a man had died during the construction of the building>the highway was like 50ft from our front gate and a construction worker got hit>craziest thing that ever happened was when the building got hit by lightening. >Fried all our alarm and camera systems and was so loud I almost crapped myself But like I said, nothing REALLY ever happened, but I'm damn glad they sold the building and transferred me to a day shift office.
