Perfection
almost
>>64466657>that barrel length>5.56 I’d say if it’s chambered in .300 BBC-out then sure that could be perfection.
>>64466657Try again lil bro.
>paul allen's AR
>>64466700>a2 gripput a1 grip on and it will be perfect
>>64466700>A2 grip>Narrow carry handleWrong.Don't even talk back.
>>64466681Shooting 77 grn 11.5 is more than enough. The graph of muzzle velocity:barrel length is logarithmic with returns diminishing quickly after 11.5"..300 blk is best in the 6"-10" range
>>64466681>>64466700even if 77gr didn't exist, 55 gr fragments reliably down to 2700 fps and 11.5" barrels fire 55 gr at a little above 2800 fps. it takes about 50 yd for a 55 gr bullet to drop from 2800 fps to 2700 fps. in a home defense scenario (the only scenario where you will ever have to shoot someone with an AR in self defense) you are not going to be shooting someone beyond 50yd.
>>64466668FpbpThough A1 upper is better.
>>64466681.300 blackniggers and their consequences have been a disaster for the /k/ AR threads
>>64466788>>64469097>>64471658ALRIGHT I STAND CORRECTED I WILL BUY AN 11.5 INCH BARREL TONIGHT.
>>64466782I’m in love.
>>64469097>11.5" barrels fire 55 gr at a little above 2800 fpsOnly from a new barrel and only in hot weather. There's some similar reply to your other shit about 77gr but I became tired of this argument many years ago.
One of these guys is holding the best M16 of all time. The other guy is holding the 2nd best.
REMINDER;The United States has never won a war since adopting Stoner’s rifle. Never. Not once. Ever. Every single deployment was a miserable failure. >it was totally our tacticsYes those tactics involve spray and pray with a plastic peashooter that jams all the time. You can’t win hearts and minds unless you field respectable weapons. This is why the east AKA global south keeps winning. The AK is reliable wood and steel. People respect it. They want one for themselves.
>>64471716This, the M14 is superior in every way.
>>64466657Old AR is best AR.
>>64471726This, but unironically.
>>64466657>>64466668>>64466705>>64466735>>64466782>>64471775>No bayonet>>64466700Perfect.
>>64471688maybe the 12.5fags are onto something then.I'm not particularly attached to 11.5" anyway. for me it's 14.5 with a p&w suppressor qd mount. there's no question about the effectiveness of 55gr from a 14.5" and no sbr bullshit to deal with.what's wrong with 77gr?
>>64473944>No bayonetI know, right? These charlatans and their neutered rifles.
>>64474116How the hell...so did you just jelq it on the range or something?
>>64471810BLASPHEMY! THE DESIGN OF JOHN C GARAND (PBUH) WAS AND STILL IS THE GREATEST BATTLE IMPLEMENT EVER DEVISED! THE EN BLOC CLIP IS THE SUPREME LOADING DEVICE! NO “MAGAZINES” ARE NEEDED ON A SOLDIER, SAVE FOR THE ONE IN HIS GUN!
>>64474207What happens when you smash gas station dick pills into your chamber. It actually balances and handles surprisingly well in spite of itself.
>>64474473I think my hands would be way too big for the handguard lol.>prep grain storageBased.>no base boardsAnon...
>>64474699>no base boardsI know, I know. I am in the middle of trying to figure out what flooring I want in my living room and kitchen, it's been like that for like five fucking months because I can't decide if I want wood in both, tile in both, or splitting at the threshold and doing wood living room and tile kitchen. So I stare at it and my cheap, shitty, temporary (lol right) rollout lino every morning and spend money on meme uppers instead.
>>64473944>bayonetI'll stab them with the knife in my hand, thanks.
>>64466657>Same size as an 18" barrel X95>Significantly worse ballistics and rangeBut at least bullets eject further away from your face.
>>64474473That thing is ridiculous and I love it haha
>>64466657Could use an optic.
>>64466782>nu/k/e>bipod on G3/FAL/M14>ewwwwwwww>bipod on AR10 (the least reliable option)>yasssssssss
>>64466700Correct
>>64466782Wish I could still find a fixed carry handle AR10 like that
>>64474770Do tile, all the hardwood these days are pine boards with a veneer over the top (unless you pay very big money) and lifeproof (and the knockoffs) just feel like cheap shit even if you get the wood veneer type. I'm lucky in that I live in a 300 year old house so I can just throw down pine boards and it matches the original.
>>64474937It's a tough choice for me, because while I'm somehow not a carpenter, my father, brother, uncle, cousins, and grandfather are literally all actual carpenters by trade. I spent years as a kid doing wood work so I'm actually competent, but just went another way professionally. If I don't put down wood it feels like I'm going to catch endless shit for it from five different grown-ass adult men every time I have family over until I'm fucking dead. They already give me grief on the reg for buying a prefab staircase kit for my second floor instead of spooling my own bannister posts up on pop's lathe, I can only imagine the horror they'll note about being forced to walk on ceramic.
>>64475428If they've done any flooring in the last 20 years then they'll know all the hardwood available outside of insanely overpriced highend stuff is a pine core with an oak veneer, which is even worse than doing tile. If pop wants to grab some 5/4 oak boards and mill them down for you (which would still be spendy, running $5 a board foot for the cheapest at my local sawmill) then do wood, otherwise modern wood flooring options are garbage.
>>64474770>spend money on meme uppers instead.Absolutely valid life choice. As for the floors, what >>64474937 said. I've put in so many modern "wood" floors, and they ain't shit. It feels criminal that some of them are even being sold. Corkwood would hold up better. A solid tile cover with a light grey/tan grout (white grout has to be cleaned constantly) will last for decades. I helped put the tiles in at my folks' place back in '06 and it still looks brand new.
>>64466657>no opticalso don't those carbines not work very well?
>>64475688Nah the 11.5" ones are fine for the most part. Just don't use shitty or low power ammo and it'll run like a top.The OG cutdowns might have had problems because the gas port wasn't sized right, but that's just about the only real problem.
>Perfection
>>64474261Agreed on the fagazines, but clips are also a crutch and just lead to wasting ammo. A real soldier just needs one shot.
