Why cant "modular" guns be made in metal with a decent paintjob?
>>64475489>made in metalweigh more, so no contracts>decent paintjobgod hates us
>>64475489Have you seen the new Steyr ATd and ATc? It's got a metal slide at least. Unfortunately, since the premium brand (Steyr) chose to make it rather than the workhorse brand (Arex), its going to cost a pretty penny.
>>64475493>weigh more, so no contracts The sigslop that won NGSW proved that this is not a consideration
>>64475489They can, anon, SIG literally sells p320s with metal frames. https://freedomoutdoors.us/sig-sauer-p320-m17-ceremonial-9mm/
profit??
>>64475489Because you vil buy ze cheap plastic shit, and you vil think it is better.
>>64476872Yeah, but those don't have a decent paintjob like OP wants.
>>64475489I wish this thing wasn't a piece of shit. It looks so good. Modularity is awesome, the low profile optic is *chef's kiss*. The Army forcing them to add a manual safety absolves it of strikershit complaints. It's got an elegant grip and a relatively subdued slide. But it's a slightly flawed design that remains defective due to greed and you support the seal clubbing of the gun industry by buying it. Man.
