Is there something like a seecamp or NAA guardian with the exposed DAO hammer but in a full size non blowback gun? Sort of like an anti-1911
>>64480860There used to be a guy who'd convert S&W pistols, thats gone nowadays but you can still just as easily file down the hammer on a your pistol of choice. As for making it DAO, just file the single action sear off of the hammer.
>>64480860>exposed DAO hammerThat's one of those really hard to understand fetishes.
Sig DAK?>exposed hammerThere's a good chance you can swap the bobed hammer with a regular sigger one
S&W 5946, a DAO version of the 5906.
>>64481294I have this dao .40 with an aluminum frame, hammer is still there but sits flat and no single action. It's a POS. It shoots fine but it's incredibly unpleasant to shoot and jacks up your wrists in a couple mags.
>>64481378Oh and the trigger sucks, could probably fix that by taking out the mag safety but frankly I don't shoot it enough to be bothered with that.
>>64480860Some variants of the old S&W 3rd gens have the features you're looking for
>>64480860The smiths mentioned by others and also the Beretta 92D and 96D, which I think are excellent dao triggers
>non blowbackYou mean non *direct*-blowback, yes?All modern semiautos are some form of blowback>>64481403This is the answer (and see other replies) to OP question
>>64481683>All modern semiautos are some form of blowbackAll?
>>64481683No. Most pistols are short recoil operated and recoil operated isn’t a type of blowback.
>>64482980Delayed blowback = blowback(You) = Midwit
>>64482941Yes. *All.*(show an example semiautomatic modern pistol of the operational system of your choice: not a one-off or prototype, something that is actually used by users.)
>>64483889Desert Eagles are gas operated.
>>64483930Cartoon pistol. Nobody uses/carries them
>>64480860Like a 92D?
