I've developed an illness for revolving shotgun pistols. Based on 20 seconds of research and lots of daydreaming I've got 3 options being in the state of California:
>buy one from some feds off the dark web
>hackjob a rossi circuit judge
>dump a bunch of money I don't have on a 500 SW and try develop a bucktoot load for it with circumcised 500 bushwacker brass
I'm learning towards circumcision

the pain of scandium frame magnums. Still carry my 340pd tho. I think the adrenaline of needing to be shooting someone would override the pain

You could get an anaconda, then cut down 444 marlin brass and load it with shot capsules and probably get pretty close to 410 performance

Finally got around to pulling out the hammer, trigger, and trigger return thing. Cleaned every surface I could get a brush and patch on. I think I found a dog hair from my friend's mom's dog who's been dead for years under the hand and behind the cylinder bolt.
I put the new spring on the hammer strut and it's reassembled. Double action feels smoother but heavier. It takes more force but there's no more grit or resistance other than spring pressure.
I'll try it out soon but not today I think.
>t. Free '67 Detroit gun anon.

weird seeing a stock grip on one of those. I think Crimson Trace has above 50% market share.
>>
>>64527920
It’s a new run that doesn’t come with the laser grips. Not getting nearly as much press as the UC did last year, but at least they’re making new revolvers in .32

It's axiomatically less reliable. You have the same issues as rimfire with the additional issues that come with multiple part unsealed components.
At best you can say that since you load the powder, waddling, and shot yourself you are minimizing third party error and have control of these things yourself, like packing ones own parachute. But sealed rimfire ammo is orders of magnitude less likely to fall apart in the cylinder or become exposed to the elements. It's also virtually impervious to normal temperature and humidity changes where manually loaded blackpowder chambers can't be trusted over time as much. The nipple system is much more likely to fail to ignite the powder than a sealed rim. Hangfire is also more likely and can be really bad if you cycle the cylinder.
Also, even modern black powder substitutes are going to fuck up your barrel if you don't autistically clean it.
There's a reason it's mostly a novelty, and even felons don't generally get them even though you can mail order the shit still.

Anyone shoot 9x19 from a revolver? I'd like to see the velocities chronod to see how much of the energy is lost from the cylinder gap.

If a thread doesn't have enough consistent support to maintain itself, then let it die. Just make a new one later. This fucking habit of making eternal generals is fucking gay as fuck. Herbs in all fields.
>>
>>64529864
I would still prefer it in .327 mag instead, but I'm content for now that .32 is seeing a slight revival at all.
>>
>>64538691
/hg/ was bitching about the revolver posting. Why do you care if I want to bump a thread on a glownigger honeypot forum?

the issue is that the people who stan revolvers on /k/ are all very annoying feelsposters who try way too hard to astroturf interest in revolvers.

Fuck them. It's "handgun general" not "semi-automatic pistols general". They're all worthless subhumans, just go and post whatever you want. All they can do is whine that you aren't dicksucking them for taking another picture of a gun next to a can of soda.

>are all very annoying feelsposters who try way too hard to astroturf interest
You just described all of the regular posters on /hg/. You've got a small clique of incestuous retards that feel like their opinions are the best because they bought a dslr and post the same 6 pictures of their guns.

Ordered a zastava m83 6" blued off Atlantic firearms. I don't own a wheel gun yet and this ticked all the boxes I wanted out of one for under 500. I've heard the DA action is second to the nagant revolver but the hammer spring can be replaced with a 17# 1911 mainspring.

I think it's some artist on twitter, completely unrelated to any gun company. Probably for a video game.
>>
>>64538271
I might have 2 eventually. I got the .22 police training revolver and I like enough that I might get the .357 version. I could have gotten something smaller and lighter and with a massive magazine, but I wanted something that would be a pleasure to fire.
