Yeah, no.
If your average crayon muncher was handed a 6" sphere of solid tungsten, and explicitly ordered to guard it with his life, he'd lose it or somehow inexplicably break it within the hour.
Muhreeens breaking a few M27s doesn't reflect poorly on H&Gay, if anything it's a testament to Cheerman Quality™ that the vast majority of the rifles keep on working despite being handled, maintained, and operated, by <70IQ mongoloids.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was run over.

I want to buy a USP but I'm afraid it's going to feel just as cheap as every other polymer gun.
>>
>>64524680
I'm a total gooner-soomer for this brand. Like the products, like the way it looks on shirts, mugs, etc. I'm pretty gay for HK.
>>
>>64525559
When you rack the slide it feels and sounds different. Mags are shit thought.

t. picked my first USP today
>>
>>64525559
USP absolutely does not feel cheap.

>>64525571
>Mags are shit thought.
How so? The metal ones are awesome. Expensive, but awesome.
>>
>>64526005
He probably means the rattle when they're fully loaded.
>>
>>64524680
Why? What happened? What did they do this time around? Did they finally squash all the hopes of the US ever having a domestic-made G36 or H&K ever making a civilian variant of the MP7?
>>
>>64526026
a marine broke something. That's it. That's what this thread is about.
>>
>>64526005
I got a USP9, the mags are all plastic, and the plastic is terrible, fells cheap and fragile, not even a steel insert like in Glock OEM ones

Also I got a brand new gun, rack the slide a few times before and after cleaning and the barrel hood is now scratched, search if this was common, then I saw this (pic related) kind of wear on an used USP45 and got me worried.

But yes, the guide rod feels like an actual guide rod and not that cheap Glock guide rod and the racking feels far better and smoother. Decocker is a bit clunky

>>64526017
They do!

They are SUPPOSED to take down nogunz.

I have ten websites open waiting for more USPC 9mm mags before I commit to buying one. Is this just how it is with HK stuff?
>>
>>64527018
I bought 20 G3 mags from Lee's Mags for $35.
>>
>>64527018
You can also use VP9/P30 mags in your USP9c
>>
>>64526826
The standard 15 rounders for the USP 9mm?

I have a USP40, the standard old 90's mags are meh and made the switch to jetfunnel mags (and jetfunnel)
It's night and day, that said didnt have a problem with the old mags, they're about equivalent to older glock mags from the same era in quality.

Go jetfunnel you wont regret it, you also *unlock* the capacity that a gun that large is actually supposed to have (18rounds i believe for 9mm)

>>64527018
Don't buy USPc mags, get Vp9/p30 mags and get the grip extension. The VP9C extended mags will fit flush and give you 15 but you need to swap baseplates
>>
>>64527812
>jet funnel
You could also use those little 3D printed extensions in order to use both 15 and 18 rounders without the jet funnel. It's not as classy tho. But I hate the idea of 15 rounders being rendered useless.

The USP does not feel cheap at all. The mags are cheap feeling in the 9mm since they're 100% plastic it I am not mistaken. The metal mags the 45acp version and the USPcompact 9mm version are very nice however

Heckler & Koch pistol magazines are steel and have been for decade

>>64532139
I didn't know that. I'll have to check my mags with a magnet
>>
>>64531905

The 15 rounders do feel cheap compared to modern mags (they are all old stock anyway akin to gen 2 glock mags - HK only now manufactures jet funnel mags for the USP being the only plastic pistol mag they manufacture).

USP45 and USPc (all calibers) always had metal mags - the USPc mag design was adapted and carried onward to the P2000, P30, HK45 and VP9.

Buy a P2000
>>
>>64527936
Put extensions on the 15 - there was a +2 baseplate and spring combo awhile ago that barely added much length past the bottom of the frame

Anon, it's got tight tolerances and a full-length guide rod. You shouldn't believe anyone who suggests it's unreliable.

>>64535600
Not suitable for soldiers due to being made of plastic.

Skill issue
>>
>>64524735
>>64525551
Nah thats just a design flaw the 416 has. its overly long barrel extension leads to cracking around the front take down pin after 10k rounds or so
>>
my only regret with my USP was getting the 9mm one instead of a 40. now i have to buy a whole ass upper for the gun to caliber swap it when i could have just bought a barrel
>>
>>64538373
always buy USPs in .40
>>
>>64525559
The plastic trigger makes its feel cheaper than my Sig 2022.
Definitely one of my hero’s I didn’t need to meet but I will probably keep it. I haven’t had a single issue in 1000s of rounds. And it’s in MGS2 so I keep. Just need a MK 23 one of these days.
>>
>>64538373
How could a 9mm barrel be compatible with a 40 slide but a 40 barrel be incompatible with a 9mm slide?
>>
>>64541112
Well you see .40" is larger than 9mm and unless the .40 barrel is paper thin or the 9mm barrel very oversized it wont work
>>
>>64541118
Yes.
So how could the 9mm barrel properly fit in both the 9mm slide and the .40 slide?

Nigga is u retarded, hes saying he wishes he got the .40 version instead because theres a 9mm barrel with external dimensions the same as the .40 barrel, where the 9mm version isnt the same external dimension as the .40. Like glock 22 vs 17

It's a peace of mind. Not to post them. Police have a stolen database. If you lose it your photo has the numbers on it. If you stole it you're going to make new friends. Data mining potential adds some complications. Potentially.
>>
>>64541112
Presumably because 9mm will fit in a .40 breechface but .40 won't fit in a 9mm breechface.

This is almost certainly a retarded question but how poorly does a compact fit in a full size holster? I have a galco Miami classic to larp with my USP and I’m considering getting a compact as well but they don’t make the holster any more.
>>
>>64544882
no clue, but many many make USPc holsters but not fullsizes

Definitely one of the flaws of my SFP9. With a full metal trigger it would be perfect.
>>
>>64540782
>>64545423
It looks like USP triggers are "dipped" in plastic.

Does the decocker/safety lever have metal running through it or is it 100% plastic?
