Interesting news on the Su-75. They want to fly the prototype in 2026.

https://www.twz.com/air/russia-insists-su-75-checkmate-fighter-will-fly-next-year

>We’re “still working on development of this aircraft,” Sergey Chemezov, head of Russia’s state-run defense conglomerate Rostec, told TWZ and other outlets at this year’s Dubai Airshow on Tuesday, according to a translator. “We need some time to get the real prototype for the test flights.”

>“Basically, we are almost at the stage of the testing flights, and in the near future, we will be launching it into production,” Chemezov added, again per the translator.

>“I think this is the beginning of 2026,” Sergey Bogdan, Sukhoi’s chief test pilot, also said about the expected timeframe for the start of Su-75 flight testing in a separate interview with Russia’s state-run Channel One television station on Tuesday. “The aircraft is already on the shop floor, it is already being finalized, and there are already certain time plans. Therefore, with God’s help, it should take place soon enough.”

>They want to fly the prototype in 2026
And I want a no-show job that pays six figures. We'll see who gets their wish first....

I like the drone version too
>>
>>64543667
At least is is better designed than the Su-57
>>
I wasnt too keen on the manned version but this unmanned version looks good and therefore will fly good
>>
Atleast it wont be piloted by jeets and probably actually AI.

I have to add "probably" to this previous comment

Best case scenario is they sell the license to manufacture to some random country I have never heard of. I don't like Russia but some variety of fighter jets is very welcome, since it looks like china, south korea, and turkey are basically just going to copy the F-22 and F-35.

>At least is is better designed than the Su-57
Thats because the SU-75 is actually an American design from the 90s kek

Does the drone version get the same NATO reporting name as the piloted version?
>>
>>64543667
will they manage to make more than six airframes or is this going to be a repeat of the su-57?

Holy shit, their warhammer larp is getting out of hand. We'll actually see the first Daemonic Engine!

>We'll actually see the first Daemonic Engine
We already say the Daemonkolaba a year ago, (she was challenging Ukraine to kill her sons, cause she can just make more) and by the speed the ziggers are burning through their lostech, we are bound to see heretech at one point.

I wonder if the final design will look anything like this or if it will be like the Kinzhal where all of the promotional material shows the Boeing Waverider while in reality it's just an air launched Iskander.
>>
>>64543667
Strategically inconsequential both qualitatively and certainly quantitatively, as were it's predecessor.
>>

Wasn't the frame of the Su-57 also taken from a rejected design concept from the contest that gave us the YF-23 and the YF-22?
