The problem is that India NEVER retires anything and often a replacement will simply never come so you have situations like the HAL Cheetah's crashing and the Indian MOD knowing that they're death traps but keeping them flying for years because it's the only thing available that can also handle the difficult conditions of the Himalayas. Keep in mind that the Cheetah I'm just using because I have a terminal case of autism for high-altitude combat - India is also running around with decades old slavshit monkey models that Eastern Europe retired long ago because it wasn't worth the losses in pilots.
