"Tactical AIs" right now do not make decisions, they analyze battlefield data and give advice accordingly. Ever play an RTS game where you had EVA barking analysis and tips at you? It can help with pattern recognition and data processing.E.g. you could feed it AWACS, comms from units, satellite imagery etc and instead of having analysts manually comb trough it all and try to connect dot the AI could draw a heat-map of enemy forces or some similar shit.It won't do 5D chess where it says you have to leave a small round rock on the third left pillar of some bridge to make enemy front collapse as their units cross it.
