American Chad here. I don't know much about guns, and unfortunately I love in the Northeast so not sure how the gun laws are up here, but I'd like to buy a handgun, maybe the Chad M1911? Thoughts? What state has the most lax gun laws?

Long guns (rifles and shotguns) can sometimes be purchased while in another state, but if yours is particularly obnoxious that might not be the case. Moving just to buy a gun you want is generally speaking not practical.Either way, a 1911 of some sort can be bought in almost any state. Which one do you live in specifically?

Age is a factor, federal is minimum 21, no matter the state. There are still ways to accomplish if under. Do you want to conceal carry it? Most northeast states are not constitutional carry. States with the most lax gun laws are like montana, wyoming, arkansas. Just literally google these things.I personally love the 1911. there are dozens of variants being sold all the time
