Are there any good reproductions of the Winchester 97 still being made for the US market?
No, Cimarron was supposedly making more from an announcement they made a few years ago but still nothing. Just buy a norinco or whatever cheapest 97 you can find.
no current manufacture. find a Cimarron or Norinco on the 2nd hand market.honesty you can get a takedown 1897 for $200 these days, unless youre looking for a trench or riot length one.
>>64633036How much are Norinco’s going for these days?
>>64633050>you can get a takedown 1897 for $200 these daysNo kidding? I think I’d actually like a takedown model personally. Where’s the best place to find one?
>>64633057gunshows, your local gunstore, online. They are pretty common in most regional markets with a solid hunting culture so it depends on where you are.how much thought have you put into this? these are very basic things.
>>64633064I mean, I was mainly thinking about online. Gunbroker is the only 2nd hand used site I know of. I don’t really care to deal with pawn shops. There’s only a couple near me with actual fair prices, and I don’t wanna deal with people quite frankly.
>>64633082>I don’t wanna deal with people quite frankly.Learn cause you limit your options greatly by doing this. Unless you are an absolute sperg and cant handle human interaction then resign yourself to paying online prices. How mobile are you? you could save up for a trip to a large gunshow in your state/region and probably find one there
>>64633050>1897 Winchester for 200 dollarsI don’t know where you guys get these prices.
>>64632908You could just get a real one.
There seem to be quite a few originals on Gunbroker for between $600.00 and $1000.00.(Non auction/ 'buy it now' pricing).
