What kind of holster should I get for my SAA? I don’t know if I want to go full cowboy (although I do live in the middle of nowhere so I ***could*** if I wanted).

Depends, concealed carry or open carry? For open carry I find a cross draw holster to be plenty.

Well I gotta be honest, I don’t think I could comfortably see myself concealing a 45 SAA. Would be cool, but can’t see it.

these are pretty good, and great for the price.

I replaced the leather tie with 1/4 nylon and kwik-clip.

Bro imagine seeing some cowboy wannabe with his revolver and giant leather holster

Just get a quick draw holster. The best thing about it is if you get even remotely competent at quick draw nobody (unless you run into another cowboy larp) is going to be anywhere near as fast to draw and shoot as you. The most average quick draw shooter is worlds faster than the best comp shooter. I've seen very good quick draw competitors fucking around shooting steel stars and dualing trees with live ammo and they unload hitting all the targets as fast as the comp guys draw and shoot the first round. It's insanely fast.

>What kind of holster should I get for my SAA?
Lets start at the beginning? For years,I thought Tripple K was secondrate hack leather. For decades. I don't know why, maybe I hated thier ads in my gun magazines? But I ordered a chest holster for my Ruger 7.5" Super Redhawk,. Big iron and it's a handful. I already had a generic crossdraw chest holster, but I wanted somwthing different. I ordered from Midway and got awesome delivery, as always. I couldn't be happier. The leather is rich, sturdy and the stiching is perfect. I highly recommend Tripple K from my one (1) product. Triple K in brown. Also, get a Mexican Loop holster and matching belt. Read the reviews for sizing.

I think it’d be pretty sick to learn how to quick draw.
