Did the Ruger bx1 kill tube magazines for 22s?Also should Ruger make the 96 again or should people just get a Volquartsen?
>>64634285Yeah
>>64634285>Did the Ruger bx1 kill tube magazines for 22s?It's a charm. But ever tube gun I own has its own charm. For current produbtion, the Marlin M60 is still tube? (But Google shows it stopped production in 2020.)
>>64634285Hate those little flush 10rd fuckers like you wouldn't believe.Need to carry a small screwdriver or something to get them out now and then because the whims of Bill Rugers ghost cause them to be completely unfucking removable.
>>64634389Skill issue.
>>64634389Your catch is busted you tool-illiterate monkey.
>>64634285I want a 10/22 in wmr
>>64634389You just hit the paddle and let them fall, don't pry them out.I made a webm of this like 8 years ago and I'm trying to find itm
>>64634394>>64634459>>64634841I don't have a trigger group with the paddle, my 10/22 is older with an aluminum construction vs the newer plastic ones with the paddle. I've got the flap you push up.Maybe it is skill issue, but I can't fucking figure out how you're supposed to "push button, receive mag" correctly.I can try it a hundred times, and three or four out of a hundred it pops right out. I have no problems with higher cap mags that protrude, so I just use those most of the time instead.
>>64635016Definitely a skill issue
>>64634579they made them for a few years, the receivers all eventually cracked, so they had a recall where the owner could send the gun back cracked or not and receive a different ruger of their choice
>>64634579>>64636527If you've got a drill press there's a guy who makes 80% receivers, barrels, and bolts out there so you can roll your own. No idea if they're any better re:cracking however.
>>64635016Press button with strong hand index finger, drop mag into off hand. If you're trying to do it with one hand on the older trigger housings, you wind up pushing the mag forward onto the front pin with your thumb.
