post groupshere are my two best papers50m with 22LR, single shot bolt action rifle, this is between 0.85 and 0.7 MOApost ammo type, distance, and weapon used
proud of you homie
>>64636137First time shooting this Glock 21. 15yd. Goddamn I am bad at pistol shooting but I do really enjoy it
>>6463620515 yards with a bog standard glock; that ain't bad Anon. Give yourself a little more credit. Assuming you're a casual shooter, couple times a month mayber. If, on the other hand, you've been working at it every weekend for ten years, then yeah, you're not making much of a showing and you can totally be hard on yourself.
>>64636188thanks mate, im proud of myself too

Just under MOA @ 100y with an M16A1 clone and a Colt 4x optic from the 60s. Ammo was PMC Bronze. All things considered I'm quite happy with it.

>>64636345wtfwhy is there tiny ants crawling on the shaft ?
>>64636205in defensive shooting you would pass ccw permit
>>64636359I wouldn't worry about it.; *
>>64636137MAS 45 @ 100yardsNorma Tac-22Don't ask me to explain the "group" in the upper left. I dunno what the hell I did to place it where it ended up. Bad sight picture. The other groups are about 1.5 and 2 MOA.Shot from the bench with support.
>>64636137Chasing the accuracy with my EBR, there are probably better options, but I'd still say 75% of it is me. The barrel whip screw was a bitch to tune though.
>>64636446>MAS 45That's a pretty rifle, I wasn't familiar with it.
>>64636446nicethis is a french baguette rifle ? cadet rifle ?there is not much of them here in france, they are above 1k€
>>64636465They're interesting. Ian did a video on them.I bought mine so I'd have a Mauser style .22.I like to collect manual actions in .22. Though because of Life I haven't been able to add to the collection for a while. As it stands I have a Mauser style bolt action, a Martini action, a lever action, and a pump action. I'd like to add a double set trigger but they're pretty rare in .22. A rolling block would be nice, maybe some flavor of Stevens for that one. A savage model 24 break action, though a little badger would fill the break action role as well.
>>64636137what position OP, if that is prone off a bag it's shit if its' freehand standing with just a sling or that its very good>>64636205show us a 50 yard target with the same weapon and if you and thinking can't be done then go take some actual shooting classes with loaner 22 or 32 target pistols
>>64636549>I bought mine so I'd have a Mauser style .22.I liked the old CZ and brnos the best for that>>64636446That's not great but it's not a worked up gun and you are on irons so fair enough. A worked up 22 off a bipod or bag at 100M should be putting them all in the red if you have sorted by rim thickness and are using decent subsonic ammunition. I guess the wind was blowing from the left to right as well.
>>64636317>>64636329Nice. Well done Anon. I honestly wouldn't expect that level of mechanical accuracy from that rifle. Granted I also don't know a lot about that particular rifle (clone or not). So I may be underestimating them, or maybe you just have a nice one. Either way, well done. It is not easy shooting sub MOA even with a good rifle.>>64636137So share ammo type and rifle OP?And by ammo type I mean manufacturer.>>64636457Distance? Ammo?>>64636501Yes, a French rifle. Post WWII .22 trainer made with/by Mauser equipment. Interesting story, Ian did a video.I know I'm mass replying. Sorry. But I want this thread (an actual /k/ thread!) to live and I enjoy the discussion.
>shooting groupsI understand for getting a good zero, or even for long range, but handguns? ok, you "grouped" at X range, got it, how does this improve your training? if you are shooting in such a way that you never have a C/D zone hit then you aren't going fast enough or training to see your potential errors.
>>64636317That's decent
>>64636581You don't know how to shoot, don;t even pretend you do, start hereComplete book of rifles and shotguns, with a seven-lesson rifle shooting course Hardcover – by Jack O'connorThere is an old boy gunblue490 that has some decent instructional introduction to shooting for beginners on youtubehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M3x_bdhZU4
>>64636566If all you're going to do is talk shit and try to tear people down without even posting your own groups; leave. Seriously, nobody has any need for your negativity. The world is full of enough shit without you spewing crap in an otherwise comfy thread. You don't even know what rifle OP was using, no idea of its potential mechanical accuracy. No idea of the ammo. And you want to talk shit about their results. OP posted good groups. Now, we don't know enough to know if they're okay good, or fantastic good because there's a lot we don't know about the set up. But they're good groups regardless. Nobody is trying out for the olympics here.
>>64636598I'll leave you to sniff your own farts, the answers are honest and based on my own shooting if you can't take them tough shit. He's stating it's a 22 at 50M. If you think that's good at 50M off a bag with a 22 then you are fucking lost. As I said if its off hand its decent.
>>64636566>ESL seethepostfuck yamudda
>>64636617So you can't shoot and your some weird fuck who's obsessed with foreigners. Alright then you have a nice day.
>>64636623>he thinks I'm the OPyou're a dumbass bitchfuck yamudda
>>64636597>some fucking old faggot talking about hikokNah I'm good, I promise you I've been shooting longer than you have, since 8. I'll keep watching my daddy Ben Stoeger.
>>64636581>how does this improve your training? if you are shooting in such a way that you never have a C/D zone hit then you aren't going fast enough or training to see your potential errors.Okay, seriously, fuck off. This thread isn't about training. It isn't about min/maxxing your every shot at the range to make you ready for seal team six. We're posting groups. We're trying to have a comfy time. You're being a negative Nancy and just trying to make everyone as miserable as you are in order to feel better. You obviously don't even know the first thing about shooting if you're asking about how groups improve your shooting. Just go away. Nobody wants you here.To contribute : I've done comparitive ammo testing now and again. This photo is from one of those testing session. Range : 25yards. Rifles : CZ457 Jaguar and Birmingham Small Arms Model 12/15. 10 round groups. Ammunition named in the upper left corner of the targets. Shot semi-supported? at an indoor range; by semi-supported I mean standing at a "bench" with my butt leaning on the lane separator wall, but holding and steadying the gun with only my arms; my elbows on the "bench".
You're all sick people. I hope you all get cancer. Fuck youse all. I put a curse upon you all. Fuck ya mudda
>>64636578>Distance? Ammo?100 yards with 175grain match ammo
>>64636636>Nah I'm good, I promise you I've been shooting longer than you have, since 8Ok then do you want to take that bet to real life and have it arbitrated. I'll start with 10000 dollars but if you have more I'll happily raise. It's a shame in all that time you never fucking bothered to learn to shoot kid.
>>64636641Wrong picture, what the fuck...This is the correct picture to go with the description.
>>64636641Fuck sake. I assumed at least some of the people here could shoot and that's a decent rifle too>>64636641>>64636641>You obviously don't even know the first thing about shooting if you're asking about how groups improve your shooting.Who the fuck do you think you are replying to?
>>64636649And it's companion
>>64636656>Who the fuck do you think you are replying to?Somebody that's all hat and no cattle who hasn't contributed anything but a shit attitude.
>>64636665wrap your neck in, I've posted more good advise in this thread than you. Don't ever settle for mediocre. Bye you fucking snowflake
>>64636578> honestly wouldn't expect that level of mechanical accuracy from that rifleYou probably shouldn't, especially considering I was using PMC Bronze.
>>64636669>good advise
Why are people being mean ITT
>>64636673nice cloud spellchecker you have there sending your posts for analysis
>>64636697Shut up, schizo-boy.
>>64636671>PMC Bronze.PMC Bronze surprises me sometimes. I don't discount it. Also sometimes some guns really like and really work well with ammunition you might otherwise dismiss. I had a Kel-Tec CP33 that was a virtual laser with goddamn Thunderbolts of all things.>>64636645Well, I know nothing about the rifle. But you're approaching MOA. If you're not at the limit of the rifle's mechanical accuracy I expect you'll be able to bring it down to MOA with more practice. Keep it up Anon.
