It seems like a fun time

it would be nice if it worked. it doesnt and is extremely picky. airsoft company strikes again.
get the bersa if you want that look.

Through hearsay i have heard that its shitty potmetal made by a separate company and sucks dick, but have not bothered to verify this myself since i dont give a shit and have 0 desire to get one
>>

>cologne walther
Remember, three crowns = umarex/RG
Antler = actual walther

The slide is "shitty potmetal", that is, a zinc alloy. There are concerns about the slide deteriorating over time with wear. Pure zinc can be corrosive just with the air and thus needs plating; the zinc alloy used hasn't (according to some) been out long enough to see how it may corrode over the years.
Anecdotal reports from users claim that it tends to be picky with ammo. CCI Mini Mag seems to be best choice for most (again, anecdotally).
Bottom line, it's a much cheaper way to have a PPK/S to have fun plinking with, but perhaps don't expect it to be a heirloom to be passed down the generations.

25acp needs to make a comeback.

The Manhurin Walther PP in .22lr is great, if you can find one.

I have a Bersa 22/6, the argentine copy of the PPK in .22lr with a 6 inches barrel.

It's an awesome gun, I love her.

bersa copy is better

>>64643204
That's the idea, maybe also make it viable in carbines

FILE THE FRONT SIGHT OFF. WHEN IT GETS TAKEN AWAY POST-SHOOTING AND SHOVED UP YOUR ASS IT WILL HURT LESS.

I actually just ordered this in Nickel for $400, which will cost more since I'm in Jersey. Having a bit of buyer's remorse but it is definitely a beautiful gun. Get it if you're into aesthetics and like 22. Maybe consider the cheaper clones

I have this in black. The DA pull is insane out of the box ~20lbs+. Leave it cocked for a few days to reduce this if you want. Reset is long. The grips are extremely cheap feeling. I replaced mine with wood. Be aware that the grips must be 22lr model specific. Yes, it's umarex and the slide is made of zinc. Functionally I've had 0 issues, but I think I've only used CCI. Sights are pretty small and don't have dots. For a min mags were hard to find but seem to be available these days. If you are thinking of carrying, maybe not, but I use it for fun. If you get the stainless model, I hear the finish isn't great and has a black portion in the chamber area, so it looks off (to me.) It comes with a barrel thread adapter for a suppressor if you wanna go full bond larp. I can't really complain about too much about it, but I didn't pay that much either.

not directly related to the PPK, but there was a smaller version called the TPH in .22lr and .25ACP. Some lower quality clones were made by Iver Johnson and other companies. I have the Iver Johnson version, the TP22
>picked it up off Fuddbroker in near perfect condition with original box, papers, and sale receipt, possibly unfired
>it's very small and light, comparable in size to a Ruger LCP II in .22lr
>the frame and slide are Zamak, a zinc allow. It definitely feels cheap, especially compared to my Interarms .380 PPK/S
>grip doesn't feel especially comfortable compared to the LCP II, I've been mindful of slide bite whenever I've shot it
>I only have 1 magazine for it, and fully loaded it will not cycle through an entire mag. I've read on boomer forums that it's best underload the 7 round magazine to 5 or 6 rounds until it's well broken in
>the rounds it has fired have been extremely accurate though. For a tiny little mouse gun I've pinged 5" steel at 100' shooting offhand
>I've only fired CCI Minimag 40gr CPRN through it since that's my go-to standard for .22
I missed out on a real Walther TPH that was German made and blued for $400 the year before last and am still sore about it. It's what I would have preferred but I bought the TP22 out of frustration after. It's a neat little gun, but not something I'd want to carry and trust my life with. IIRC they were approved backup guns for NJ police at one point though

I like the gun wish they sold the red dot ready slide without a red dot, I am picky about my pistol dots and I already own a few
