Why don't thirdies use tube fed pump action rifles in .30 carbine?
>>64653391Did they even make those in .30-30?
gee idk maybe because they're rare and expensive
>>64653535I'm pretty sure they literally always had extraction issues and the larger framed guns were discontinued before the .30-30 came out. Large framed guns were never popular, they sold 6.5K large framed lightnings. Winchester only sold 140,000 1885s and I'm sure a not insignificant number of those were in .22 and the 1876 and 1886 sold like shit. only 64k 1876s and 160K 1886s. meanwhile they sold like 780k 1873s, over 1 million 1892s and and 7.5 million 1894s. Marlin (and a few other companies) actually had .45-70 lever guns out before the 1886 but no one really cares because marlins only started selling with the 1893 .30-30 and the 1894 .44-40pump actions were popular in .22 rimfire and shotguns because that type of shooting needs rapid fire, see how semi auto shotguns and .22s are super popular for fudd shit, but most rifle hunters still use bolts>>64653568I'm not saying historical guns. they canceled the lighting way before .30 carbine was invented. I'm saying why don't companies now, today, make pump rifles in .30 carbine like how that one company made lever shotguns for ausfalia
>>64653577good points even more common rounds like pump action 9mm would be a good idea for countries with shit laws. Is .30 carbine common outside the US? I thought it was a US only cartridge
>>64653628I was just saying .30 because it has more energy than .357
>>64653577Here is mine Large frame in .40-60
>>64653833original or repro?
>>64653853Original from 1889. it has a (probably) non-original European front sight
>>64653859neat
>>64653875I also managed to find the original bullet mold and Ideal reloading tool for .40-60 as well. Which is quite surprising for me here in Europe.
Op trying real hard to seem he’s not a servant of the jews
