Panther even more so. Super duper heavy Maus-style armor needs to become a thing of the past. It's cooler to have armor just a little higher than Bradley-tier, and then a bunch of APS spam onboard so you can zoom around at high speed with extensive range on just a tiny amount of fuel and never have to to deal with the annoying fact of having to constantly stop operations and repair your vehicle whereas here you are putting almost no stress on the suspension like Abrams.>>64661864They could retain the same looks of the old turret by simply making the old turret into an empty shell that instead of hiding armor is a lightweight mostly empty shell that is used to contain systems like electronics and ammo etc and is superficially shaped like the old one. It's not hard to think of some bullshit to put in an empty shell of a turret. You can even make it put of cardboard and paint it green but holy fuck the new one looks silly if they just remove the entire form while keeping the huge dorky cannon sticking out of it
