Why are militaries in the west still preferring this color instead of green or white since next wars are gonna be fought in snowy and jungle environment?

People see a bunch of trees and think "oh we need green!" but don't realize that brown works just fine in foliage as there is more brown there than you think. Furthermore it keeps the guns cooler under direct sunlight exposure which is great for certain environments. Tan is just way more versatile than people give it credit for and it's kinda something you'd only realize with experience because conceptually it doesn't make as much sense as green>>64664992Probably one of the few examples of green being alright given their environment, but even then they still coulda done brown.
