>>64665945Performance wise, sure, but the reality is that conflicts have oriented themselves to close range combat for most actual infantry and something smaller is more convenient. For the civilian market a 20" is the best for blasting a deer or something, but when you're going room to room in an apartment complex to clear it out then a 14.5 or 11.5 is much more effective in mobility. Personally I prefer the full 20" as well, but I'm just some guy who occasionally plinks out in the yard and might blast a deer, pig, or coyote once every now and then.
