Are people who shoot traditional archery just trying to compensate for having no personality?
>>

asks man with no personality
that's not even a traditional bow it's a modern recurve
>>

In the year 2026 this type of bow falls into the genre of "traditional archery" What did you want? Some sort of midieval long bow?

Include the Mountain Man rendezvous.

Fiberglass recurve bow is retro enough to be considered vintage.

I started with modern target and hunting bows and hated it. The bows are designed to do 90% of the work for you. I picked up a longbow for a mix of the challenge and history. Traditional bows are sovlfvl and good. Modern target bows are for people who hate archery and want the least amount of involvement in the sport.

>>64700991

>>64700991
yes but also "people" who make time-wasting bait threads about archery on /k/
>>
>>64700991
It's a hobby just like firearms. It's generally considered more aesthetic and it's certainly cheaper to practise. Bows are also 100% unregulated in even the most dystopian anti-gun countries.
Wish I had the New Guinea street fight clips to post, very kino stuff with giant bows and spear throwing.

>cheaper to practise.

it's not only cheaper, I can practice at 6AM in my backyard without care, you can't really do that with a machinegun
>>
>>64701567
he's been doing this twice a week for the past month or so now, probably as a result of being bullied hard in some other thread prior.

everybody else in the world is wrong and you're the only one that truely knows - does that sound about right?
