The guidance from the carrier also kinda sucked, at the critical moment she had a guy in her ear shouting 'THROTTLE UP' which just made the asymmetry worse.Even if they still passed her on fast jets they should've put her in a Hornet or something else with more forgiving flight characteristics. Tomcats in general but especially early Tomcats were notoriously difficult to tame.
