I just spent forever (fucking weeks) trying to buy fully legal parts for an AR15 in Washington so I made www.compliantarms.com over the weekend to make it easier for others. It aggregates AR15 parts listings that will ship to Washington from a few of the biggest firearms sites. For example, the only PSA listings on there are complete uppers since for whatever reason that’s all they’ll send.Have seen others having problems finding websites that ship as well so I figure it’s needed but do you guys think I should expand it to more states and more categories?
This doesn't help me because I don't have restrictions where I am, but I think that's a very cool idea and I wish you success.Have a bump
This is sick, my home state of California (commiefornia) would benefit massively from a tool like this. I was actually planning to build an AR soon so I will be keeping my eye on this site.
>>64721841ya, California would be next for sure, especially with the new bill starting as of the 1st that makes things even more confusing
Its not something I personally will find useful but you are doing God's work, anon. Have a bump and I'll give ya a toast later tonight.
>>64721773Proud of you homie.
Any other state requests?
>>64722019IL minus Chiraq county(cook) if you have the time
I may be forced to relocate to NY soon. Not sure if I should bother making my rifles compliant or just leave them with a buddy.
>>64721773Even if it sucks, you're cool. Thanks.
>>64723039PLEASE do NY. Nobody here north of NYC is following any laws, and I see a few suppressors at the range which is a total NO in NY. We all hate the fact that there is like 8.4 million communists in nyc metro and 8.1m in all of upstate to oppose them.
>>64723059It would be the troy/Albany area, currently in Pa and I got pretty comfy with our anything goes laws. Think most people up there would look the other way on non compliance?
>>64721773Did New York ban super safeties and frts?
>>64723082Oh. Well ok I write them off but yeah within 10 miles of albany, it's NYC.
>>64723099NY bans all of the NFA stuff, and anything that doesn't violate it falls under "trying to" and becomes the same thing at state level.Hochul even went on TV and said fuck SCOTUS, come do something about it.
>>64723099Not kidding, in NY you need to go on Amazon and buy the book that has all the federal gun laws and then the one with all the SCOTUS case write ups, and then try to find one (I couldn't) that has the collection of NY gun law.Because you'll meet the one cop that cares in all of red upstate some day.
>>64721773You are doing a fundamentally good thing, but consider the possibility of regulatory agencies within those restrictive states using your site as a shortlist for businesses to go after and harass.I remember when I lived in California discussing such things openly on Calguns was taboo because it was no secret that CA DOJ was constantly lurking. They even used screenshots and printouts of Calguns threads as evidence for getting warrants.
>>64723131That's what I'm afraid of. It's possible I could be in the burbs because I haven't settled on anything, may not move at all. But I'm thinking I could handle a half hour to an hour long commute if that got me far enough out.
>>64723190He's a WAbro which unfortunately means the former AG/current governor Bob Ferguson is actively scraping websites and forums for that exact information. He doesn't even deny utilizing a Stasi like this because he's such a cocksucking commie faggot cuck.Ferguson can suck a hot fart straight from my asshole. God damn do I hate him and Inslee so much for the damage they've done and continue to do.>>64721773Godspeed OP.
>>64723190Eh, if they're at the point where they're trying to actively stop companies from shipping parts this website isn't revealing anything a simple google search would. They aren't sitting in their government office going, "oh jeez we want to stop people from receiving gun parts from the internet but it's impossible to figure out which sites send to Washington."
>>64723059>I see a few suppressors at the range which is a total NO in NY.Fucking HOW?It's gotta be LEO right? Otherwise no FFL is going to allow an individual to take one home right?
>>64723616Some people just take a risk and openly ignore the law, hoping that nobody cares enough to enforce it. I've seen suppressors at public ranges in California and the one time it resulted in actual arrest was because the owner was dumb enough to forget his gun with a homemade can still bolted to it at the range. Because police had to recover the firearm, they had to investigate it.It is uncommon because the consequences of somebody who has the power and cares enough to fuck you over this finding out are dire, and I don't personally recommend being that brazen, but some people do it anyway.
>>64721773Nice. Though I've seen NY plebbitors complain that PSA is inconsistent with what they'll ship. You can add an upper to your order only to get a message afterwards that they won't fulfill it. Goes through for some, not others.
That's neat. Nice to know there's a fellow that's stuck here in WA like me.
There's a guy in /akg/ bitching about Delaware, I didn't even know they had gun laws. Anyone know what's going on there?
>>64721773That's really cool anon. I feel i need to make one for IL considering how absurd and wide reaching our ban is. I can't get almost anything from brownells because of this shit so i have to do some real searching to find my historical parts
>>64721773Very cool op>>64723082I haven't been around in ten or so years but post safe act cny/upstate/Syracuse area everyone ignored state gun laws. Just one time at an auction the auctioneer asked the audience if a hipoint carbine was permitted, we collectively said it was fine except for one boy scout leo who said it wasn't compliant. But that was once out of dozens of various times I saw people ignore Albany.
>>64727926>we collectively said it was fine except for one boy scout leo who said it wasn't compliant. This is pretty funny to imagine. I hope they sold it anyway. How is a highpoint carbine not okay anyway? I thought they took the same single stack mags as the pistols.
>>64727973Nah the auctioneer didn't want an issue, I was pedantic at the time keeping up with all the grabbing, and they were violating minutiae of the laws left and right, not that I'd mention it. I forget exactly what the problem was with it, might have been the pistol grip on a rifle making it ripe for assault.
>>64727145
>>64727409Speak with a buddy in DE often, and been there many times. For as barren and rural it is- the laws have turned grim. No surprise that assholes from Jersey and PA live there to skimp on taxes and it is Biden’s home state. They just implemented a law that makes you register finger prints to buy anything.
Bumping for awareness
>>64721841This post glows.
>>64728244That's sad, it could be a pretty cool state. Like you said it's so empty and the no sales tax thing is pretty sweet. I looked it up and apparently you need a permit just to buy a fucking pistol in the first place, fingerprinting is just fucking insane. I guess it's similar to how some of these southern states like md and Virginia are getting bad because of the proximity to dc. It's pretty insane how shitty little liberal cities full of foreigners and darkies are allowed to just strong arm their entire states. Im terrified that philly will do to Pa what nyc did to ny.
>>64727973gay shit law says peestol grip + detachable mag is ebul'n'murdery so you gotta put the fin of friendship on it
