According to open-source intelligence, 2025 became a record-low year for Russian military equipment losses

If this infographic had chinese dirtbikes and donkeys it would be record highs though
>>
Grim. Now let's see personnel.
>>

That is still a small army's worth of tanks and IFVs lost. Christ, what a bloodbath.
>>
They have less things to lose now. Now show in percentage.

not for donkeys, horses, ladas, and golf carts
>>
>>64732358
According to Ukraine Russian losses for the year were 418k. This seems pretty high, but even half that is horrendous.

It would be very interesting if we could get a per capita comparison of comparable Russian vs Nork equipment losses. I strongly suspect that Nork equipment losses are significantly less (proportionately) than equivalent Russian systems despite some Nork systems (Koksans and Bulsae) being specifically hunted down.

Keep in mind that even if the operators were identical in skill you would see less Nork losses due to a longer range (Koksans, 240/300mm MLRS) but i think the losses will be much more disproportionate than mere range would tend to indicate. While the systems are different enough (Koksans appear to be tougher than Russian SP guns and Bulsae has no Russian equivalent) to account for some disproportionate results the numbers for TELs and heavy MLRS systems should be interesting; the latter two don't have enough of a range advantage for it to be all that meaningful.

Huh?

1) It's only documented destructions, there are additional undocumented ones
2) Ukraine doesn't have a lot of weapons that are great at taking out Russian artillery, their drones are shorter range and are predominantly used to target Russian advances and not hunting 10-20 km behind their lines. They don't have huge stockpile of missiles to launch at artillery either.

Do they not have factories churning these stuff out? Grim stuff. I hope they continue this war for another 30 years at least
>>
>>64732354
>record low
They lost more than 500 tanks in 2021?
>>
>>64732673
If the Russians were fighting this war with only the vehicles they had actively produced since 2022 they wouldn't even be able to put together a full sized Brigade.
>>
>>64732737
This is bad. We need to supply the russians some materiel to keep this war going, not enough for them to win but not too little that they lose. Fuck we need more wars. When is China going to invade Taiwan...
>>
>>64732721
If by lost you mean misplaced, possibly... yes
>>
>>64732455
Radar-directed counter battery fire does not come with the benefit of a built-in killcam. You send shells at a ping on a map and then guess whether it stopped shooting because you killed it or because they scooted off and stopped shooting for a while.

Any thoughts on speculation that Nork troops might play a role in a big offensive into Ukraine proper?
>>
>>64735851
I highly doubt it. Best Korea invaded Ukraine with Russia expecting to more or less waltz in and take over as Russia claimed was going to happen. Instead they got a spanking and yet another lesson in Russian lies. If Kim has any sense left he'll understand that Russia has little if anything to offer North Korea nor does it have enough military strength to threaten North Korea.

Please God let Kim invade Russia instead in a land grab of their own. The Russian salt would never end.

Could we express this number in standard russian meat cube units?
>>
>>64735851
No, Kim seems to be genuinely appalled at both their losses and the retarded way Russia fights.

Besides ongoing deployment of their specialist long range units the most Russia can expect is combat engineers, looks like they are going to be rotating units of 5000 for the foreseeable future. Those troops are almost certainly worth alot more than the same number of combat troops would. Cleaning up EOD, repairing small bridges, fixing roads, setting fortifications and that sort of thing is something they excel at probably better than any Russian assets.

If we see another offensive into Russia proper then they will probably do more direct combat but they are highly unlikely to be involved in any major offensive action on Ukrainian soil. If they do it is a sign of major trouble for Russia as they are expensive and money is tight.

The idea of the 105th and a couple of mech divisions smashing a hole through the Ukrainian lines might be kino and maybe even win a city or two but the response would destroy them.

They could punch a hole anywhere they want, maybe even take one of the Baltic nations but then what? The Nork armored fist would be devastated reaching the goal and Russia can't exploit, or even hold the gains. They couldn't help rebuild them as almost all the heavy equipment the Norks would use is unique to them. It would be a huge waste and Kim knows it.

Russia couldn't afford that and if they said they could the Norks would call them liars and rightfully so. The cost would be in the amount of several hundred tons of gold delivered BEFORE the first tank was rolled onto a train and Putin would face a coup the instant anyone found out about it.

That's cope EW. Two Alibaba/Temu EW boxes installed on a fucking motorbike.

There are several thousand (theoretically working) warheads the russians might be able to convince Kim to take as payment still. Maybe even some (theoretically working) BM and TEL to go along with them. Possibly even an operational boomer with a full payload of (theoretically working) SLBMs. Russia still has some stuff the DPRK would want, let alone just going "fuck it we'll give you Vladivostok for an army corps".
>>
>>64740182
Its cool how you have this telekinetic connection with Kim and know exactly what the Korean leadership is thinking.
>>

It's a relic of the NeoHwan bloodlines. Pops up every now and again.
