What should I do with this old junky 38 s&w? I got it years back for like 100 bucks. Never shot it. Pretty sure the timing is off, it rattles, the barrel is really rough, the hammer was broken and welded back together, and 38 s&w is expensive.

Buy a Model P Jr chambered in .38 special from Cimarron and modify it to look like your old timey copy.
>>64739907Could be worth something as a parts gun, Numrich might buy it. Are there any intact markings?
Fix it and carry it every day.
>>64739933Not a bad idea. Here it is next to a full size Pietta 45. Is the Model P Jr similar in size to the junky revolver? Cause I’m really not a huge fan of the 45 to be quite honest.>>64739972Idk if it could be fixed. I can’t even find a duplicate of it. It’s an old Spanish copy.

>>64739907sell it there is always a market of underage noguns pretty much sovereign citizen morons looking for guns like that. the felon whos thinking about getting blackpowder would buy it. those fucking idiots buy anything in a grey zone.

>>64740073They are smaller than the SAA. I've never handled one, but I think they are around the size of a Ruger Single Six or Colt Lightning. .
>>64739907Get hardware store parts and make break action conversion. If youre posting here, you should know how to do this.
>>64742545how is this supposed to work?is it still blackpowder using percussion caps or cartridges?
>>64739907Sleeve it for 22 and have fun
>>64739907>buy picrel>fix timing >slick up action>get a 9mm luger Lee loader>reload for it like a cowboy A pound of powder, 100 pieces of brass, and a couple thousand primers and bullets would only be like $300 if you can't find a deal on primers. Works out to 15cpr on the high end but the /k/ino factor would be priceless
