Have you ever lost interest in guns or innawoods shit? What brought you back to the hobby?
the need to be based
>>64740509Guns yes, innawoods shit no. Now that the Era of cheap milsurp is over, I really only buy ammo or mags these days.
stopped listening to marketing garbage and just bought ammo. i sometimes buy an accessory and maybe once every year or so i'll buy another gun, but that's about it. the gun industry is very very tired.
>>64740509Set a stupid goal and work to achieve it. I put a traffic cone in my field about 250 yards from my deck. I wanted to get to the point where I could, standing supported hit it with five times in a row.At first this required a lot of training myself, but eventually I became more accurate than the papaw's Mitchell Mauser. It really felt like leveling up and for the first time buying shit like match grade ammo and getting a rifle properly bedded acutally made sense becuase I could make use of the added accuracy as opposed to spending money on a status symbol.
Yes. I’m currently not that interested. More focused on trying to get rich. This endeavor has killed my interest in any hobbies. The guns I have currently are strictly for defense of life and liberty.
>lose interest in gunsSounds gay.
>>64740509yes as far as guns, i've found myself going for more and more archaic and obscure firearms, current project is stacking dies, molds, and gas check cutters to be fully self sufficient for calibers that would be fine in black powder (.38spl,.44, .30-30,.32-20,.43 mauser). right now I'm focused on equipment to be able to reload, people in my area have left quite an untapped resource in things like scrapyards, I've bought so many wheel weights, lead pipes, and once fired brass from the barrels at the scrap yard I frequent when I have time, at one point I picked 250 .45 colt cases for 3$ a pound , if you go around hunting season you can find so many expensive once fired cases cast off by richfags, i'm talking .300wsm, .300wm, .270's, .243,.308s, .30-30, .38-55, and countless others
>>64740509Yes and no. I still love guns. But I bought all the ones I ever wanted. Like, I got them all and I don't want more. I don't care to spend hours discussing them, optimizing my tacticool, lusting over surplus, I just...got it. Quest is complete. Now I have taken up hiking in early medieval armor and clothing.
>>64740509My best friend. I was in a post breakup slump and he came around and dragged me up the mountains to shoot and introduced me to shot timers and competition style shooting. Hes moved on to another hobby but ive been going strong for years now with learning and 2 gun.

>>64740912thanks
>>64740912Lmao
I lost interest after I had them all seized for a year because of a foid talking shit with zero evidence. I got them all back but I pretty much sold nearly everything because its a pain in the ass to deal with moving them among what other anons said like the gay gun industry, lead exposure, and I had abunch of money in it when i shouldve just been traveloor and investooring
After I bought a PSA 10.5 inch ar-15 I lost interest in buying new guns and now all I do is buy ammo and shoot. It solved firearms for me and stole away the need for me to buy another.
