I don't know how long it'll take for me to acclimate to the rapid banter but thank you for being patient~
Is /arg/ happy?
>>64740687LOLno
>>64740691Maybe you all should go to miami, go fuck up the diaz brothers with my boy chico, it's real good schitt man we make a lot of money. I'm in deep with guy called Sosa he give us the yeyo we sell he give cut back. easy money, easiest in the world. World great big pussy waiting to get fucked. We men with guns what ya waiting for mayne?
You do actually go /out/ and shoot your rifle, right anon?
>>64740710I can't afford it anymore honestly desu
>>64740687I'm gonna buuuh
My silencer purchase is taking longer than three days to come through like they were last year
>>64740792thats what you get for sitting on your hands kiddo, isreal couldve used that 2 hundo for more missles
>>64740687Not really because the Tenebraex killflash for 4x32 COGs doesn't really work for TA02 and the only one I can find specifically for the LEDCOG is this bullshit looking one from """Covert Arms""".
>>64740833Spoiler: strip of tape
>>64740838I considered it, but even then, the little horn sticks out front of the COG and looks ghetto. Maybe I just dremel it off.
>>64740842Chigga it’s fine who cares? I zip tied mine after breaking the rubber tie it comes with…
>>64740847Maybe I'll give it another whirl, thanks.
>>64740687No. I'm trying to figure out which of two $3.5k guns I want more. Or if I should just buy an AUG or PS90 instead of those. I wish I didn't have an interest in anything except plain Jane ARs
>>64740833Onehunnud concepts makes one that seems fine, not my flavor but my buddy likes it
>>64740856I'm not putting that printcel shit on my COG, can't do it.
I AM AN AR15CEL I HAVE NO RANGE PARTNER I HAVE NEVER SHOT PAST 100YDS I CANT OWN A SUPPRESSOR I WILL NEVER HAVE A STOCK ON A SUB 16” BARREL AND I LIKE RED ANODIZED PARTS
Is the KK the current meta for an IAR can or has something usurped it already?
>>64741033Can't go wrong with it. There's a lot of people talking about the Tisha now, too. https://stealthadditive.com/tisha-5-56-6mm-suppressor/
I think I'm just done with ARs now. I got nothing else AR wise to build. I'm doing a 300 black out xcr and I guess then ill move on to getting a 20mm.
>>64740687I don't know the last time I was
>MLOK shears slots when using an underbarrel M203I heard RAHG timesert has a retardedly strong shear force compared to MLOK. It would work great for underbarrel mounting but tbf you could also go with an MLOK rail that has picatinny on the bottom.
>>64741065What is the point of these micro flow through cans? Like just use a flash hider at this point, it’s like a needlessly expensive and complicated muzzle device.
>>64741315Didn't Poo Science say it's the quietest 5.56 suppressor out right now?
>>64740710: (
>>64741214>20mm20 minute mile I hope
>>64740710From time to time. Cool spot.
What do we think about 1913/sig type stocks? Know to wobble or are fine?
Are there any companies that sell uppers just without a handguard? I have a RIS III i wanna use but dont want to build an upper myself or buy an entire new one
>>64741485not really anything that's great. You would have to disassemble the barrel from the receiver anyway to get the RIS III on, so your best bet would be to find an upper with small parts assembled (widely available) and then use whatever you want for the barrel.
>>64741033Velos/Velos K makes more sense for sustained fire on the count that it was designed for it and due to the fact it can be recored.
Jang-gun having a meltie about evil nazis rn. Shame as the dude posted good AR-15 content. His channel is going to die because of the comment block and his desire to curate conversations that only for his narrow technical discussion interest.
>>64741532I wonder if it has more to do with him being afraid his videos are gonna start getting flagged and demonitized
>>64741543I think so desu. He complained about his channel name causing issues with YouTube.Either way he outed himself as a faggot and shot himself in the foot. YouTube doesn't care about mild memes in the comments and now he's actively telling people not to engage with his content. He's just an Asian nerd crying that people aren't writing a PhD thesis in the comment section. Way out of touch.
>>64741532Literally who?
>>64740675The main problem with you retard goobers is you still call receiver extentions "buffer toobs". Fucking retarded goobers can't even get the part names right.
>>64741570Obviously some faggot retards worship anonymously.
>>64741030>I LIKE RED ANODIZED PARTSThere is nothing wrong with this.
>>64741278You never really were, if that helps. And nobody likes you anyway, so it doesn't matter how you feel. You're just a loser.
>>64741606Yeah true
>>64741315DESU they're awesome. They hide flash, reduce enough sound where I can shoot a few rounds with out ear pro painlessly and weigh very little. Honestly I wouldn't buy another full size 5.56 can again.
>>64741601don't say that too loud we'll get retards in here complaining if builds aren't 100% designed and optimized for combat
What has everyone's preferred training course been, outside of standard flat range rifle stuff? I know TUSC has been mentioned a bunch but it's been kind of impossible to get into recently, anything similar?
>>64741618>shoot a few rounds with out ear pro painlesslyHealing loss accumulates. It is addictive, and never abates. You are going deaf.
>>64741619>100% designed and optimized for combatI am unironically considering a tactical rear view mirror. https://armoredoptics.com/products/hindsight
>>64741632I agree and I don't make a habbit of doing it. I've just done it a few times to hear what it sounds like. Unsupressed my ears are left ringing while with can it doesn't hurt.
>>64741631>preferred training courseFor you: https://www.gunsite.com/classes/youth-270-rifle-class-2/
>>64741638*additive Sorry.
>>64741532>JangSounds asian. Don't come to my country and then complain about it. He should fuck off.
>>64741570Gook YouTuber crying about chuds in the gun "community.">>64741680He's Asian. That's why he's doing his Asian inferiority thing and crying about white men joking with eachother in his comment section while supporting a gook with engagement. He did have some really good HK content but I'm done with him. His comment section was one of the most tame I've seen it's mostly just him getting mad about people wondering why a gook is wearing a Nazi designed cap and telling him he looks stupid in it.
How come ARs aren't monolithic along the top rail similar to the Masada/ACR? Not like LMT since it's completely mono. Much easier to remove and get access to the barrel. Is it entirely just due to it somehow being more complex for production?
>>64741800Lwrc owns the patent for it.
Making goonsmith progress. Had to shorten the 9.18" overall length Apex Gator rail to get everything fitting with the 9" 300blk barrel and the knockoff Tri-rail. Actually just bought a used real YHM tri-rail. Anyway, chopped off a good bit of the front end of the rail. Had to bore out the receiver side of the rail to shift the barrel nut clamp muzzle-ward. Shifted the rail to barrel nut clamp screw holes as well. Moved the rear up by 0.845" Everything lines up decent!>>64740710Nice pic. Lame rifle. >>64741284>Remington lower>that railI guess botulism does have a taste?>>64741618>I wouldn't buy another full size 5.56 can again>2026>We're evolvinggob bless
>>64741803Oh, thats silly. Do any of their product use it? Everything i see on their catalog looks normal
Was a bit of a bear getting the tube jigged up with minimal runout, but got it done. This Apex Gator rail thing isn't the most elegant install by any stretch, but what can you expect for a 15 year old rail meant to work with mil spec barrel nuts.
The biggest die I've ever worked with lol. Turns out AR buffer tube thread spec is 1 3/16-16 UNNeeded to thread the BG Defense ARIC mini buffer tube adapter just a few more threads so that the castle nut could be run further rearward to work with a mil-spec style end plate setup. Had to similarly slot their buffer tube to work with a mil-spec style end plate setup. Very stronk now, looks way cooler IMO than how it comes, and was able to suck the tube into the receiver by a solid 0.250" to reduce overall length.
>>64741823>Everything i see on their catalog looks normalEverything in their catalog uses it and has for almost 20 years now.
Goal was to get rid of the weird smooth BG Defense super thick end plate section, and to build in mil-spec style functionality with buffer tube timing using the mil-spec end plate and slotted buffer tube. Red loctite and torqued the picatinny rail section into the steel mini buffer tube, then slotted the tube based on vertical alignment of the picatinny rail section. Looks closer to LR300 IMO, more mil-spec. Got a massive die handle and the ability to clean up/chase buffer tube threads out of it.
>>64741214It's kind of hard to give a fuck about ars once you have a .308. No more>hrrm do i want an spr or a gpr
>>64741854All that work and it still looks like shit, damn.
>>64741848Might just be shitty image resolution and my shitty eyes, but the handguards look to be completely removable. Unless you mean its monolithic in that it attaches to the upper directly instead of a barrel nut.
>>64741848Not him, This does in this review:https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/gun-review-lwrc-m6ic/However, it seems like the rest of their uppers do not. Pic related. They use a monolithic barrel system or something like that?
>>64741822Respect the autism. I don't have money so the closest I got was an ARFX-E and a PRO I had lying around in tribute. Just won't work without a short barrel
>>64741854awful awful awful
>>64740710Not totally out, but pretty close.
>>64741966>>64741990Correct. The patent language considers the rail to be an attachment to the "monolithic" upper. It's not a true handguard like it would be on a normal AR-15 even though the function is the same.
>>64742161>a front end having a receiver extension extending therefrom,The language of the patent and why you can't have an extended top rail per LWRCs patent. They utilize it in a different way orc since they wanted access to the piston. Aero did a similar setup but had to nigher rig a collar setup to avoid the patent. Wasn't nearly as good imo. Also it was literally invented by Jesus.
>>647421784got pic
>>64740710>>64742159Rifle carts and more serious glass makes a lot of sense where you guys are. Very cool.
>>64742161>>64742178So what anon is looking for/wondering why there aren't more of them is like that product that Aero just put up (old stock of) for sale. Where the top rail is monolithic and then it has a bottom portion that bolts on.
>>64742200Bingo. Can't fight a patent case.
>>64742221So LWRC's patent for that stupid image here >>64742182 somehow also covers something completely different (the extended upper rail)?
>>64742200Yeah, this was what I was looking for>old stockFuck my stupid chud life.
>>64742228It's still in stock on their website if you really want it.
>>64741854>BG defenseHow do you like their stuff? Considering buying one of their builds. Which they should would be $3399.
>>64741680i approve this message
>>64742225Yes. >a front end having a receiver extension extending therefrom,You're free to argue in court that it doesn't. Aero didn't think they could.
>>64741214Shit rifle.
>>64741485how exactly would that work? You don't want to install a barrel on an upper, so you would rather uninstall a barrel already installed on an upper, just to reinstall it with a handguard? Sounds like more work to me.
>>64742259I don't believe it's that they didn't think they could, they just didn't want to spend the money. I don't think it would be too difficult to not only argue that they're blatantly different but lwrc's patent description is too broad from that snippet.
>>64742263Disgusting herpes, see a doctor.
>>64740675Why do (You) retards keep buying this
>>64742292It's in fifteen carts!
>>64742292>t. Trijicon sales repLetb eople buy what they want, faggot.
>>64742313FOMO. Very common marketing practice.
>>64740710id say this is close enough to being /out/ for my range
>>64742292I don't know why people shit on the elcan so much
>>64742350because it's not a cheat code like a thermal
>>64742350It's pretty comfyIt would be cool if they could shit out a more modern version with an LRF and projector integrated
>>64742350It's heavy, it's canadian, it's expensive, other things do similar better, did I mention it's canadian?
>>647423501-4 is pretty retarded for the weight and cost compared to other modern options. The whole world has moved to something like 1-10x LPVOs if they are using scopes which is close to the same weight of the elcan.
>>64742432Elcan>3267$ at 23.10 ozPA 1-8 RDB with badger mount>2030ish$ at 23.25 ozMaybe the Elcan has a better 1x, I don't know.
>>64742451Certainly a wider FoV
>>64742451Even if it had a better 1x there is still scope shadow for both and you would likely use a attached red dot for 1x shooting anyways. I have only used Dot + Mag for all my main guns for a long time and have only shots friends rifles with scopes so that's just what I think.
>>64740710Sometimes.
>Messing around with my Larue upper on lower>Test out bad lever on it>Doesn't work because of Larue's cut on his stealth upperDo you all think that if I mod the lower to accept that HK Ambi that was discussed yesterday it would have compatibility issues with the larue upper? It looks "wider" than a standard milspec paddle. Though I suppose I can modify that too if I need to.
>>64742432>6k msrp>4k streetAbsolute mental illness tier pricing for a vortex lpvo. I get they're scamming the british government but if they want this to be successful in the US civilian market they're gonna have to come down.
>>64742161So it's gay and aidspilled and that is why nobody else can make one. Fuck you lwrc.
why does sig have mono rails then
>>64742670It was promised to them decades ago
>>64742270Agreed.>>64742657Hey aero did so you can buy what you want. It's shit anyway tbqhwy. Everyone likes the ar because it's barbie for men. There's probably a few thousand different rails that hold zero.
>>64742670Not covered under patent language.
Does anyone have any recommendation for a specific company for a nutsack for the m249? My Lima6 upper came in and while the barrel/handguard I am waiting for wont be in stock for a few weeks, I am getting everything else in order such as links and ammo bags.
