Just know you will always have to live in the shadow of the bad boy that is called the Boxer. Your inferior dingy shitshacks will have to do for you guys i guess.

And yet, Australia still chose Boxer over AMV. Either would have been fine though. In fact, I'd have chosen AMV because it's lighter.
Lots of Boxers getting bogged in the mud in northern Australia.

>IFV thread
>doesn't post an IFV.
You will never be an IFV. You have no crew compartment, you have dismounts, you have no infantry support cannon. You are an armored car twisted by drugs and welding into a crude mockery of modern maneuver warfare's perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back procurement officers mock you. Your assembly line workers are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “crew” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed garage doors.

Infantry are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of warfare have allowed soldiers to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even Sd.Kfz variants who are “open topped” look uncanny and unnatural to a mechanized commander. Your chassis is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk MP to ride on top of you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your anemic, low rate-of-fire AT gun.

You will never be successful in a combined arms breach. You wrench out a fake engine ignition every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be able to deal with Russians in the brush, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable fire of a mere rifle squad.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a incendiary grenade, pour fuel on the engine, set the sabotage charge, and leap into the flaming abyss. Your crews will find you, annoyed but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable failure and ineffectiveness. They’ll scrap you with a disposition form marked with your true designation, and every salvage crew for the rest of eternity will know a scout car is rusting there. Your frame will decay and go back to the rust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a hull that is unmistakably scout car.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

They are ludicrously huge, bigger than a city bus. You cannot hide them
Most of the reason they are so freakishly tall is mine protection from GWOT.
>>
>>64744013
Not for lesser armies, correct.

I can't find info that supports it one way or another. I read they integrated a twin-round ATGM on it, and there's 220 in service, but I can understand if the didn't make more than a few.

Wheeled IFV's have one distinct advantage, they can lose wheels and still remain operational. IIRC the AMV can lose both front and rear wheels and remain mobile.

Maybe its the fact that a private citizen could conceivably get their hands on one.
