When soldiers were interviewd by some reporters about what they do, they said "we shine microwaves so they bomb them, not us" and reporters, not knowing the difference, thought they ment ovens. They actually tie into OP about ground reflecting radars because they were used to spoof smaller signatures. If anybody is interested I can write more about it later
