Giving this a bump but genuinely curious: are there people out there with nightstand guns that aren't their EDC?
Dunno how all the various 92 models are different, but I like my Vertac. My home defense gun is a 10.3" AR is keep suppressed. I cuddle with it when I sleep.
Hard to beat a 92fs. I’m building an old model centurion d from parts. I like it so far. I’m converting the decock to a safety. I’d just get a full size 9mm though. The only reason I got this one is that I can my 15rd mags through it no problem.

For nightstand why not get a full size? M9A4 is better for this use case. 92FS is awesome, but no rail for a light makes it less ideal in this role.
>>64743907Just like the smaller size, plus if I decide to carry it someday, or decide to bring it on a trip, I imagin the slightly shorter slide would be more convenient. I believe the difference is only an inch in barrel length, so I doubt the full size has any advantage other than being slightly heavier, with less felt recoil.
