The function test for my EDC pistol, magazine and ammunition is five cartridges fired at an IPSC silhouette [PBKB] 10 yards away. I've spent so many years shooting outdoors that every round here was a vibe check along with what sounded like a compensator / brake in the neighboring lane [you can see the camera jolting]. It was a struggle to stay on target but every strike was within the B square
1. Where do bipods fall on the angled/vertical grip spectrum in relation to making the gun an SBR?and2. How many mags are enough for EDC?
So, to the anon who usually posts these, who is this chick? She's got a nice ass. Also I like your 1911
>>64757055Marina AmatsuThat’s a 2011, this is a 1911
>>64757050Whats your EDC? I've been keeping a rotation latelty.>>64757058Oh thanks, still, I do like your collection
>>64757053>making the gun an SBRMore like OOW?
>>64757053>bipod for a pistolWhy? Did you not unlock one for your knife?

Anyone here with one of these comps? Recently got a 92 and I want one. Price is a kinda high though
>>64757091>Glock 17 Gen 3Bit of a big ass EDC, but I'm assuming you live in an area that forces you to wear a coat for a good chunk of the year>135 GrainOdd choice, personally I stick to either 115 or 124 grain since it's what I shoot normally as FMJs>Rotate based on the seasonsNot necessarily, since there are no seasons where I live, my rotation is more situation dependent and the guns I usually carry or take with me would have to fit into my cars center compartment, which unfortunately means anything bigger than my Glock 26 Gen 3 wont fit.Bleh.Speaking of which, I tend to rotate around the S&W Shield Plus, 638, Glock 26 Gen 5, and the P365.The Shield Plus and G26 are guns that I prefer to holster but do have pocket holstersThe 638 is a gun I exclusively pocket carry but I have thought about getting a proper IWB holster for itAnd finally the P365 is a gun that I do both with, and it's actually great. And I may add the PPK into the mix but that needs more shooting. And on occasion I carry my G19 Gen 5 or 686.Needless to say, I am not a rich man
>>64757138No I dont own any Gen 3s thats an error
>>64757035What is objectively the best pistol red dot in production. Any comment with "for the money" or "best value" in it will be ignored. Thank you for your time and consideration.

>>64757185Seconding HTX-1 even though I don't have oneIt's definitely not Trijicon for lack of clarity and low deck height, Aimpoint is still too fragile*, Holosun has some BANGERS but their electronic durability doesn't seem to stack up to Trij*this applies to P1 and P2, the COA is new and as yet hasn't shown the same chinks but I haven't seen real hard core or long term testing on them either, and they share the same DNA, and it's also extremely homosexual they made ANOTHER new mount standard you can't even use on real gunsThat said you'd be a fool to ignore value for money. There's a reason literally NO-ONE has an HTX-1. A bird in the hand or something

>>64757138>big ass EDCIt's only a half inch longer and taller than a Glock 19 but I'm open carrying like an unc anyway>what I shoot normally as FMJsTo me, it feels similar to 124gr +P like Winchester Whitebox [M882] >fit into my cars center compartmentSame, that's why I wanted barrier blindness [automotive glass, sheet steel, et cetera]>S&W Shield Plus, 638>686>Glock 26 Gen 5>P365That's quite a roster of sub compacts and pocket pistols! You're richer in character than I am as anything smaller than that Glock 19.5 is too snappy for me>>64757485>Shit's WAY easier than a pistolBallistically superior in every way too but we compromise and carry pistols because it's usually impractical and illegal to do the same with a carbine>>64757491Visited the local office supply for more copies of the target– it only cost $1.90 after taxes for six
>>64757583Open carrying? Which holster do you use
>>64757628An airsoft nylon holster if I remember correctly.
>>64757185Apparently there is going to be a holosun with a front facing sensor announced at shot show this year. Barring that, the RMR HD.>>64757382Still haven't been able to source one of those transparent optics >:(
>>64757704>holosun with a front facing sensorIsn't that just SCS
>>64757709Don't think so. They're doing what the chinks do best, copy good designs for half off. I'm sure it's going to mog everything on the market in its price bracket when it launches. If the sensor works as good as the HD, then it will probably mog everything on the market.
>>64757628Mexican carry but with a Kydex trigger shield>>64757635>$4,500 MSRP>patent engravings on the wrong sideGrim!
I have a Walther PPQ Q4 with those swappable grips. How do I tell when it's right for me? I feel like having the largest grip on is causing me to jerk the trigger more. Also, how do I stop jerking the trigger?

Shoot more. You can do little games like loading snap caps randomly into mags or alternate between live and dryfire on the range but ultimately you just need to crush through it with rounds fired. In the short term, next time you catch yourself flinching unload the gun and do some dry fires until you stop, then load and go. The goal being to cross-link your "oh shit it's going to recoil I'd better flinch" brain with your "it's empty and won't move so I don't have to flinch" brain
