How well did it perform in combat?

It was on-par with the T-34...
Which was pretty bad in the 50s when the Soviets were using T-54s in the same role.

M41 is a light tank, you obnoxious asslicking vatnigger troglodyte.
>>
>>64757612
It was flawed and because it was flawed it wasn't really used much.
>>64757827
It was too big to be used in the reconnaissance role it was intended for and too poorly equipped to do much else. It did see combat against T-54s when they were used in Vietnam/Laos with mixed results.

Thin armor. Good mobility. Decent firepower.

Pretty well actually. The South Veitnamese loved their M41's and achieved a positive k:d ratio against T-54's and PT76's.
