>You’re in command of Cuban military.
>US Carrier group parked outside your island
>Trump seems determined for a regime change
How do you defend the island?
>>
Initiate a pro-American coup.
>>
>gorilla warfare
>wait 3+ years
>back to normal
>>
Hope that the Iranians fuck up enough to make the US send the carrier group over there instead.
>>
>>64770589
They don't need carrier groups near the middle east. They have so many deployment points and airfields out there it's basically pointless.
>>64770583
honestly probably this. Cuban government wouldn't last very long though. US is basically fucked if they try and go after Columbia or even Mexico though. When service members families start getting whacked by the Sinoloa, it will become unsustainable.
>>
>>64770583
>gorilla warfare
Would a pro-communist cuban insurgency even work in this day and age?
>>64770589
Basically this, the time that the current cuban government spends remaining in power is very dependant on how the Iranians continue to act towards the protestors and whether or not the hawks in DC convince Trump that the Ayatollah needs to be taken out.
>>
>>64770518
Open the ports for hot Cuban pussy. Everybody wins.
>>
>>64770634
I'm convinced Iran is basically a distraction from his senior staff at this point. Aside from retards like Miller, a lot of Republicans are parting ways with his views on policy.
No one gives a fuck about the south Americans because you could claim it's routing Russian control out or drug lords out but they overplayed their hand with the Greenland shenanigans.

Backup, silly. Bases get bombed, if you don't remember Lebanon.

>a lot of Republicans are parting ways with his views on policy.
They just want reelection, Trump doesn't have to worry about that. 3 MORE YEARS!
>>
Does Cuba have anything besides poorly maintained 40 year old slavshit?
>>
>>64770662
I don't think this dude is making it to 2027 desu. I think Rubio is going to take over next election anyway.

American Empire would die in the jungles of Cuba.

About the only way to fight against an overmatched opponent. Unfortunately, I doubt that's gonna stop the current government of Cuba from being toppled.
>>
Wait 20 years for the Americans to completely fuck it up and leave
>>
>>64770689
RFK's just being a retard (water is wet) because we've had those two guys do CICO experiments with twinkies and mcdonalds but counting calories and they were healthier than they were before starting it. If he dies before the term is over RFK will go "I KNEW IT" as opposed to an overweight nearly 80 year old man dying when that's ~5 years over the life expectancy of American males to begin with. Same dumb horseshit as people dying of regular diseases and going "DA VAAXXXXXX"

>>64770676
Who takes the baton is all going to depend on how the rest of the term goes.
If it goes great then Vance will be best positioned.
If it goes terribly then Rubio is the best positioned in admin ("I was the adult in the room making sure things didn't go worse")
Rubio is just in trouble if there's some big foreign policy fuckup like invading Greenland militarily.
>>
>>64770737
sure thing. except we literally still own part of Cuba as our empire
>>
>>64770630
>When service members families start getting whacked by the Sinoloa, it will become unsustainable.
And then service members will roll up to a Mexican village and start killing men, women, and children. They'll get arrested but they'll still commit war crimes of vengeance.

Granted, I doubt the cartels would care much about an invasion, just go underground and be less bold about killings is a far better strategy than actively inciting the anger of hundreds of thousands of armed and trained soldiers with far better weapons, training, and intelligence.

Guerrilla warfare in Cuba wouldn’t work.
All “guerilla warfare” examples where the US “lost” were examples of fighters that retreated into neighboring countries to cower until the US got bored.
>Vietnam
Hid in Laos for the majority of the war.
>Afghanistan
Hid in neighboring countries for the majority of the war.
>ISIS
Played loose along the borders of multiple countries for the majority of their existence.
>Venezuela
What people were expecting was for insurgent fags to camp the Colombian border.

Cuba is an island.
Any insurgent would be fish in a barrel for a U.S military that’s become very, very practiced at rooting out the insurgents that are dumb enough to stick around.
There will be no guerilla offensive.
>But Cubans are masters of guerilla warfare.
No, it will be shockingly bad. Like Russia in 2022 levels of “how was anyone ever scared of this?”

How do the crayons taste?

Every time someone cites the 'gorilla warfare!1' meme they can only ever cite those two examples. One in Vietnam where the US military was hamstrung by it's own government and wasn't allowed to to follow them or attack North Vietnam. The other in Afghanistan where the Taliban scurried over the border into Pakistan and the US Government prevented the military from following them again, and every time they climbed over the mountains back into Afghanistan they got turned into paste. That's not even to mention the K:D ration in Vietnam was lopsided in favor of the US to put it mildly, and in Afghanistan it was outright laughable for the amount of time we were there.

Guerilla warfare doesn't work on an island against the US military (the island itself being within pissing distance of America too), with a bunch of weapons leftover from the 60s, with a population that by and large isn't interested in maintaining Communism for the sake of it. Anyone interested can go and check out how the Cuban 'masters' faired in Angola.
>>
>>64770884
Yea, being trapped on an island without retreat or resupply, while the US airforce is circling above does not sound very sustainable.
>>
>>64770672
No, their economy sorta collapsed when the soviets did and AFAIK they haven't gotten any new equipment since the late 80s
>>

you're a retard that's mad goat romancing tribesmen and buck-toothed gooks btfoed you, now coping with your video-game highscore logic

>muh political constraints
that's a military reality retard, the US internal system allowing for its military prowess is reliant upon a pacifist populace that is not aggressively tribal and ethnocentric, thus excluding certain forms of warfare from your military repertoire, the fear of chinese intervention in north vietnam was also a military reality
>muh US K.D in vietnam
why do mutts always seem to forget the south vietnamese they claimed to have been helping in the first place? your 'allies' died in droves as well

yeah you guys could have 'won' your conflicts by nuking and genociding everyone, followed by your system collapsing from the implications and cognitive dissonance that would ensue from a humanist universalist society going Genghis Khan

but yea the cuban government is full of scammers, liars, and idiots, they're not going to have much support once the US bribes their officials with a piece of chicken and 15$
>>
>>64771616
>tribesmen and buck-toothed gooks btfoed you
>proceeds to explain how the military actions of said tribesmen and gooks had nothing to do with the reasons the US pulled out
Mmmm, fresh thirdie seethe!
>>
Cuba should just man up so the other shitholes in LA can send their support and give US an excuse to just glass everything below mexico.
>>
>>64770630
>They have so many deployment points and airfields out there it's basically pointless.
even for strikes on Houthis, no Middle Eastern country would open the airspace for the US due to fear of retaliation. meanwhile carrier in international waters doesn't need any permission from other countries.
