Stop shilling Chinese optics
>>64785101There is nothing wrong with Holosun.
>>64785101Shut up nigga, your sig optic was built by some brolic black dude named requis working for a jewish ceo who outsourced most of his company to india
>>64784983I wish these stupid fucks would stop selling this fucking optic along with a gun. Aimpoint doesn't even have a good rep anymore with their enclosed optics, much rather risk it on the eflx. For the price of the optic the RCR would be a good choice. This is assuming you want an equivalent American option, but...>>64785101Not until American sights catch up. So never. Holosun mogs all the American optics options.
>>64785101How about instead of sperging you just tell me which one you'd recommend? Because all of the shit so far has just left me with the elimination of the Osight SE from my list.
>>64785113We wuz american optics manufacturers n shiet>>64785153EPS core
>>64785153I have a Romeo X 2 MOA that I like. Optics selection is harder if you have ligma so the same optic looks different through many people’s eyes. EPSes bloom too much for me. I’ve found that the original RMR and RCR don’t bloom that much so I’ve been going back to those. The RMR HD is the same except the auto brightness can jack it up to the sun and the entire window becomes a gigantic red blob in the right conditions, I think I set it on the lower auto brightness setting for it to stop doing that.
>>64785088I'm so disappointed that KelTec remade their clip-fed handgun into a .380 (this year at Shot Show). If they had any balls left, they would have done it in a weird caliber like .30 Supercarry.
What would your edc be if open carry became mandatory? You can still conceal carry, but it has to be in addition to your open carry weapon.
>>64785217No significant stigmata here. I mean, I guess it exists because tiny red dots are not perfectly round but it's so small that when I got my eyes evaluated the optometrist's eyeball mapping machine didn't show enough deviation from ideal for him to recommend me an RX. I admit I like the EPS Core most because it seems most compact and I do occasionally pocket my hellcat. The AMSC for example is an angular little mf and the Romeo X compact enclosed is the widest of the 3.
>>64785329I'd still just carry a Glock, maybe go with a 45 or 17 instead of a 19. I don't want something heavy like an all-steel 2011 though.
>>64785329My Mark 23 because I shoot it well and it's cool. I'd probably get tired of it getting in the way and OC a compact though.
>>64785329I would continue to conceal carry only
>>64785088im buying a new gun soon
Anon's intel was solid, this Mec-Gar worked flawlessly with my Gen3 G17 [OEM spec]. At first, the magazine catch wasn't particularly audible nor tactile but now it is after 60 rounds [mix of Fiochi and some Czech import]. I kept my pistol loaded with 18+1 cartridges every time to verify its capacity above factory standard [the entire selling point]. Will be carrying this one daily and purchasing a second
>>64785427Dumb question but do they fit a Gen 3 Glock 19
>>64785329Katana on my back. Assailants won't see it coming when I pull a CC.
@Burt you gotta update your optic guide again. The AEMS micro also fits on the ACRO lmao https://youtu.be/-MDmMn9WxxA?t=388
>>64785470 is liable Putting a MGG17 in a smaller frame is a documented point of failure, only use the Glock 19 specific Mec-Gar magazinehttps://mec-gar.com/shop/magazines/glock/glock-19-9mm-18-round/
I am fucking fiending for a 5 inch model 27
The CZ 75 Legend looks cool but the price is turning me off
>>64785329I'd rotate between a Glock 17, 19, Beretta M9, 1911, USP, 686, VP9, and the M17
>>64785536Oh yeah and the COA is releasing on the market standalone. The cut is called the "A-CUT" not COA. https://aimpoint.us/coa-3-5-moa-red-dot-reflex-sight-PA000489/RIP to those who bought a whole ass glock to get one. They should rename it the DOA with how Holosun has mogged them.
>>64785101When will Vortex start selling American-made glass to the public?
>>64785329460XVR
>>64785627I don't get it. I'm the target demographic but I'd rather just buy a genuine pre-B over a reskinned Shadow 2
>>64785718I dunno, maybe I'll buy it because I want to get at least 3 premium guns this year and so far I've narrowed it down to the Colt Python and Benelli M4 H20
>>64785731There's a '77 Python sitting at the LGS near me for a few months now. Gonna try and get em to knock the price down a bit
Should I buy a HK p7m8 or a Hi point c9?
>>64785849Hi point
gentlemen
>>64785970YOU CAN'T DO THAT YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE SIDES
why will the Beretta not sell the an m9a4 in a black
>>64785993>>64785661I am once again asking you to update pls
>>64785996because you'll buy the olive green one this year, and the black one next year
>>64786000checked but the best they can do this year is red. Check in next year for olive green.
>Blue M9A4Ok now I am interested
>>64785329>if open carry became mandatory?I'm so surprised no one has chosen a long gun yet.
>>64786038I'm going to the Chipotle, not a trench
>>64785993I wish my Glock 19 was blue
>>64785856Okay, Should I get both tho?
>>64785329But anon, I was already open carrying my Glock 17 exclusively. If an 18+1 capacity isn't enough then a concealed J-frame or subcompact would be less useful than a second magazine
>>64786022It's like a shitass blue though.>>64786100Getting a cerakote is easy. Getting a factory anodized or plastic injection molded as blue is another story.
>>64785113There's a reason why the Chinese are called Asian Jews anon. Up your racism to the next level instead of imitating it.
>>64785427Still not buying a mec gar Glock mag
92-posting, also wood grips look really good on LTT
>>64785997Noted and goated>>64786087You can totally get one, but the -19s tend to be expensive, and it takes a lil work to convert the frame to take a live fire slidehttps://www.gunbroker.com/guns-firearms/search/completed?keywords=glock%2019t&timeframe=1&sort=1&pagesize=48Ackchyoually holy smokes those $550 ones were a steal, they rarely come up and never that cheap
>>64786160I'm not telling you to buy one, just reporting that it works on my machine. If this Mec-Gar ever shits the bed, first thing I'll do is sound the /hg/ alarm. Until then, I get to enjoy 18+1 capacity the same way Beretta and CZ posters have for years
>>64786280I still honestly don't get the hype besides a slight increase in capacity that doesn't do all that much imo. If anything it feels like it was made to get more money out of the glockatto from suckers. No offense.
>>64786282you should give it a manufacturer marklike the 4chan clover
If you care how pretty your firearm looks, you're a gay retard
>>64786346Low vril opinion

EPS Core is cheaper because they downgraded to 6061 housing. Booo. They need to make an EPS 2.0 that's the same as the Core but 7075.
>>64786528lol, wtfthe difference in price between the two materials would be like a dollar, that's lame as hell
>>64786533asian jews of the world anon
>>64786597Charging a premium for 7075 is uniquely an American tradition. The Chinese knockoff GBRS mounts were 7075 at release. The legit ones are still 6061.

If China manufacturing sucks so bad, how come my Norinco handgun is the best one i ever owned? Better than my Glock, Jericho, 1911, and any others.
>>64786739It isn't. Checkmate retards.
>>64785088Ok I'm actually gonna do this month's challenge. I was gonna ask hg which firearm i should use, but i just realized i shot all my ammo besides my 44SPL target load, as well as some prehistoric revolver specialty rounds, so I guess I'm running my BVLLdog. >>64786740I bet you never even owned a China gat. I bet you never even fired one. Hell i bet you never even looked at one, after all why would you when it's not gay porn.
>>64786739If China manufacturing is so good, how come my Norinco 1897 shotgun is the worst one i ever owned? Worse than my Remington, Benelli, Browning, and any others. There ftfy, China suxs. Their guns doubly so.
>>64786764It can't possibly be worse than Turkshit though. I had a Bosshog (Benelli m4 clone), and it was trash. It kept jamming, and people were warning me online that it might literally blow up in my face. So i gave it away to my "amigo". He took it willingly, even though i specified that the shotgun is a piece of trash. I also have a Citadel 12G Ar10 clone, but it's a broken piece of shit. It needs a ring, but i never bothered with it. I don't even know what to do with that hunk of shit. Morale of the story is that whenever you think it can't get worse, there's always Turkshit.
>>64786812Did any of those guns fire more than 20 rounds total? If so, they’re better than this potmetal piece of Chinkshit.
>>64786748>>64786739anon we all know you only like it because its an oddity.
I would love to own the current Chinese and Russian service pistolsHell isn't the current Russian one just a Glock clone?
The M17 is growing on me
>>64786827Pretty much everyone agrees that Turkshit shotguns are ass. But i hear /k/ope all the time that "Turkshit pistols are better than their shotguns". Would you accept the same /k/ope from me? >did my Turkshits last more than 20 rdsIdk prolly but i wasnt the one firing kek. I don't wanna lose my fingers or eyes in a country with third world healthcare. >>64786835Respectfully, I don't consider Norinco weapons an oddity when Norinco is one of the world's largest defense contractors. I do admit i love Norinco handguns because the AntiChrist hates it enough to ban it, yes. But it's also a great firearm. >>64786845Uncle Sam is so jealous of Chad Chinese Pingzhuen firearms that he banned them. It's the overpowered shit that gets banned, after all. If it makes Sam seethe, it must have some virtue.
>>64786877I still prefer euro made or designed handguns
>>64786879You're replying to a prohibited person.
>>64786879The beautiful thing about China is that they basically rip Euro designs and even improve em. Doesn't the Tokarev count as Euro design? China had the supreme idea to make it 9mm. Even if I'm wrong and someone else did it before them, China can into Euro designs. You must understand, Chinks are very high IQ people, they really do put Americans to shame in this regard. Probably because their public education system isn't a penitentiary for children. But i digress.
>China>Improve
>>64785158>EPS coreCan I slap.one on my rifle?
>>64785306>weird caliber like .30 SupercarryI could do weird, but more .32 HR Mag or .357 Sig for compact.
>>64786884>OY VEY THIS POSTER SAID HE'S AN ILLEGAL MANIAC WHO DID 9/11No need to seethe just because your weight is too high for the scale to read>>64786894Yes, improve. China improves the entire world by providing cheap consumer goods to all. Not only that, but China provides healthy competition, high IQ human beings, ancient wisdom, and countless other boons to humanity. Everyone who copes about muh Chinks literally just has low IQ.

>>64786157You seem to be too stupid to understand this, as are some other anons. I'm not DEFENDING the Chinese, I am telling you fucking retards that your stupid MUH AMERICAN MADE larp is retarded because American companies don't give a fuck about you and most of the "made here" stuff is just assembled here from chinese made components anyway.
>>64786346It's not "pretty" it's cool.
>>64786908First of all, China is whiter than USA by a measure, and so is Espania. You're throwing bricks from a glass house, at a concrete fortress. Second of all, I'm not in the 'stein files, and I'm not Hebrew. Also i hate tranime. Therefore, i cannot be a p*dophile. Idk about you, anon, but i want my handgun manufactured by as high IQ of a person as possible, therefore I prefer Chinese manufacturing. If you have a better paradigm for comparison, I'd love to hear it.
Have you ever had such a good customer service experience with a handgun that you really did feel like the company cares?

>AAAAAA THE AMERICANS ARE BULLYING ME SAVE ME CHINAMAN
Hey speaking of guns made in shithole countries, are there any Webley revolvers worth purchasing? I heard those things go off without a loicense, and that they have Pajeet-tier manufacturing quality
These arguments are stupid. Chinky optic: >good features>nice price>ok warranty>questionable customer service>decent reputation>you know you're rolling the dice on the chinks so no surprises if something happens"American" optic: >3-5 years behind on features for some reason>twice the price>better warranty>horribly mixed customer service experiences>reputation is either tards glazing it or people mad they spent a bunch of money and got delaminating junk>you think that you're buying American quality and durability, solidarity with your fellow American, and peace of mind, but you're still just rolling the dice like you did with the chinks because the American company is run by boomers and private equity kikes.I'm not going to buy American just because trump and anon told me to, you have to actually offer me something I think is worth the extra cost not just try to guilt me into supporting my fellow American and call me poor if I don't then to fuck me up the ass with quality issues.
>>64787010I love how you put American in quotes, because you know damn well it's actually made by jeets
>>64786959Heckler and Koch were cool>>64786981Well I actually shoot it, so..

>>64786959I once was interested in buying an old Smith so I copied the serial number down and called customer service for more information on it. They connected me to an actual American that knew his shit and he told me all about the gun and that model and that production range. I didn't end up buying it but it was a lovely conversation
>>64786290The hype died at launch because the magazines filter Glockattos like the 47 and 45 among other things [RXM, Dagger, et c]. I might actually be the only other Mec-Gar Glock anon in /hg/>No offenseNone taken because my G17.3 is practically featureless, kek

>>64788274In a few of Stoeger’s drill videos he shows shooting one handed even on the move in mock stages, shooting one handed into a 6 inch box is hardly trick shooting and is basic competency. In stoecism or stoegerism (there might be a major schism because of this) you simply shoot one handed the same way you shoot two handed but with just one hand. I call it gay faggot shooting because the only people who seem to think one handed shooting is important is gay faggots.
Redpill me on the Ruger Security 6. Is it a good first revolver?
>>64788326>I call it gay faggot shooting because the only people who seem to think one handed shooting is important is gay faggots.lol, the resident twink talked about how important one handed shooting was for YEARS so he could LARP as a WWI soldier, and then as it turns out, the best two-handed shooters in these threads also happen to be the best one-handed shootersbig think
>>64788564He's a contradictory mess, I try not to think too much about what he does because its all to save face in the end. His caliber sperging about not even .380 but .32 being justasgood as 9mm only to end up shooting 44 special to spite 9mm chuds because muh stopping power was pathetic.
Alright James, I’ll fucking buy the new LTT
>>64788542>Is it a good first revolver?yes and noas a gun its fine nothing wrong with it specifically. on the otherhand is discontinued parts availability is crap ruger doesnt support it and wont repair it. if anything breaks your fucked. but thats true of a bunch of other not in current production guns. not unique to the security six.
what's the fucking point in pistol red dots on carry weapons? obviously it makes the footprint bigger, but that's not even the main stupid point. at self defense distances, you're literally just point shooting. if you can't hit a torso sized target at under a couple of yards years just point shooting, you probably shouldn't be allowed to own a pistol.
>>64788680Using a red dot effectively IS point shooting and you clearly don’t get it

i've watched thousands of videos of people tanking 9mm mag dumps with the best defensive ammo to know that shot placement matters more than anything else therefore 380 and 5.7 are great handgun rounds unless you can't shoot for shit in which 9mm is still dogshit. I'm either going tiny or big ol 45, anything in between is just a waste of time.

If ironsfags actually put forth effort, they wouldn't be so consistently embarrassed by opticschads in these thread challengesAlas, ironsfags are too busy posting about "muh sovl" on 4chan to dry fire, SAD!
>>64788694Generally speaking it will be tougher to find when you present, except I think presenting on rifles is easier due to the extra point of contact. So it shouldn't really matter, you just might prefer to have a bigger window just because you can. If anything the AEMS macro would be more suited, but these are all close to the cost of the actual AEMS meant for rifles.
>>64785583I don't understand why they put the lock in any of their classic line guns. F them. I ordered a model 60 and when it got to the FFL they broke all the seals in front of me. Remember when every gun you bought used to come with an empty casing they had test fired? Batch testing guns is not OK. Batch testing guns is not OK. Batch testing guns is not OK. Okay, I've been out of the loop for a while. Someone tell me how much I'm misunderstanding the idea of a 2011.>9mm double stack thing with design elements from the 1911>frequent features include polymer frames, ported/compensated barrels, optics cuts, and wacky slide serrations, and usually frame rails>very fiddly about what ammo they run reliably with>no standardization, no part from any one 2011 is interchangeable with a part from any other, not even magazines>costs a minimum of $3000Why the hell are these things selling so well that there's a zillion manufacturers making them all over SHOT show? Is it just because they're all made to ultra tight tolerances and are thus super accurate?
>>64788934>tell me how much I'm misunderstanding the idea of a 2011A lot>Why the hell are these things selling so wellShoot one and find out
>>647889342011s at the minimum are like 600. Tisas/MAC, and some other mystery meat brands are that low. They aren’t just 9mm. Personally I think the problem that plagued 2011s is that they were designed to fire >9mm>.38 super >.40>.45 >10mm>9x21 Winchester >etcAll from the same frame and magazine size. If they made the gun around 9mm instead of all the calibers then a lot of the issues would have been avoided. 2011s aren’t that finicky anymore, the magazines were the weak link and have greatly improved in recent years. Frames are either steel or aluminum. The grips are modular and can be steel, aluminum, or polymer. There are a few polymer double stack 1911s but they never conformed to the greater 2011 pattern. 2011 isn’t “double stack 1911” it’s a specific pattern of double stack 1911 that uses a 2 piece frame where the grip comes off and can be replaced. 2011s are very interchangeable, they’re literally 1911s with a different frame, trigger bow, and magazine/magazine release. All other parts are the same. There’s different patterns for more proprietary parts like the style of external extractor if they use one. Kimber vs Staccato vs Infinity etc. but you could always just use a new slide if you wantAll the wacky features like windows, crazy serrations, etc are race gun features boiling down to consumer guns, it’s across the entire gun market. People want race gun features, like comps, gas pedals, light triggers.
>>64788968yo this ngl out here burgerking
>>64788934single action triggers are hard to fuck up. Ecelebs have grown fond of this particular style of single action trigger. That's it.
>>64788991What a stupid fucking contrarian thing to say. A raped slave mentality.
>>64788994nah. All other characteristics of a 2011 are irrelevant if their average trigger were any less so than they are. I like them, but let's be real. Their primary driver is the trigger.
>>64789029No. You see something becoming popular since they’re becoming more affordable and better and then screeched “ecelebs” like a sexually abused dog. 2011s have been a thing for 30 years now, double stack 1911s even longer like the para ordinance. They are the preferred gun of competition shooters, often you have to pay (sponsor) them to shoot something else.
>>64789029You have never touched a 2011 in your life, why are you talking about them?
For people that buy ammo online, where are you buying from? I've been shooting so much lately (moved to a neighborhood with a gun range across the street) and that $0.25-0.26 for a 9mm round seems hefty compared to what I've seen online. **Not interested in reloading - my bench space is taken up by my shotgun stations.**
>>64788934heres the thing 2011 was not a generic gun. it was one company tripp research making them then they rebranded into sti. eventually turns into staccato fairly recently. anyways somebody quit sti and formed svi/infinty and they start making 2011s in the 90s.then years later theres a bunch of fuckers making 2011 pattern guns.anyways the original 2011were good and as more companies started ripping it off and improving it stuff stopped being compatible.

I'm getting a tisas 1911, does it take any regular 1911 mags or do they have to be a specific type? It's my first gun other than a glock 17.
>>64789094For 1911s there is different magazines for different ammo, and within that different brands that do things slightly differently. It’s a 1911ism that certain guns (even within the same model) will prefer certain brand magazines (different brands = different magazine follower design basically). The popular magazines are Wilson Combat mags, Chip McCormick mags, Tripp mags, and metal form mags. MecGar too I guess. I use Wilson combat mags, they go on 50% off sales sometimes or buy one get one free. For FMJ (normal range ammo) most magazines are fine but I had a .45 Tisas that refused to feed JHP (defensive ammo) from a 8 round magazine and only would do it from 7 round magazine no matter the brand. They can be picky since there is so many variables.

New look, same seam.
>>64791787It's grim but they mogged everyone this year. Good for me as a consumer though, now there are enclosed optics with auto bright that will actually work right.
>>64791767The original idea is that the "1.5" stack magazines would slowly taper outwards into a double stack, and be essentially single stack until a little ways down. This slower taper meant that the top of the magazine was slimmer, and could make for a slimmer "receiver" and ergo a slimmer gun. The nomenclature of "1.5 stack" is definitely marketing wank, but it's hard to argue with the results, because the P365/Hellcat/et alia are VERY slim, far thinner than the double stack compacts that preceded them.
>>64791831It's so close to perfection
>>64791859It's just, in the past, guns were steel framed, so there were two layers of thick useless material on both sides of magazine, and then grips made of human-friendly materials like wood, plastic, or rubber were screwed to that part of the gun, so the entire length of those grip screws, on both sides, would contribute towards the girth of the grip. This was OK for single stack magazines but completely intolerable with double stack. Plastic guns put the end to that asinine design but out of inertia, kept grips about the same size. It is a mystery how in the wake of single stack carry 9, at first, everyone except kel-tec failed to notice that double stack magazines are not very thick at all, and it is the rest of the gun that needed to be optimized for carry.
1.5 is objectively a great idea and makes single vs double stack arguments moot but only a handful of carry guns take advantage of it with basically all of them being poly strikers.

>>64791808>“1.5 stack” is a meaningless marketing termNo. 1.4672948 stack is meaningless. 1.5 stack makes sense and has a mathematical feng shui.
>>64791865Better get that trademarked before Glock sues you.
>>64792017The reality is that the 1.5 stack magazine isn’t actually thinner than a true double stack magazine. Last I checked a P365 mag is just the same width as a 92 mag. It’s spring and follower shit that puts more rounds in the mag. Like how MecGar was able to make 18-19 round 92 mags the same size as the 15 round OEM mag. You can’t get around making a super slim DA/SA with a double stack magazine, it’s impossible due to the mechanics of DA/SA. SAO is possible. DAO is possible. Not DA/SA.

>>64792237I can only guess, but because micro 9s are typically so much lighter than full size duty pistols, a drop on top likely wouldn't be worse off because of the material. You can make anything strong if it's thick enough, and the EPS design being enclosed makes it inherently stronger than open emitter designs. If you want to worry before SageDynbaminks destroys one to prove it, spend another $50 or whatever on the regular EPS, but I don't think it'd matter much if at all, all other things being equal (by which I mean if you did two exactly identical drops with both materials). But remember that even Acros can break when dropped and they are 7075, and I think the 509T cracked a corner and that's titanium.

>>64792438"1.5 stack" is just a marketing term for "slim double stack". They are literally just thin wall metal double stack magazines in thin wall grips. There aren't transparent versions of them like this because they're built to be as thin as possible, but if you look in They aren't halfway between single and double stack, they aren't some weird variation of feed, at the most they (micro 9 magazines) taper down a little earlier than old double stack guns to allow more room in the upper area of the grip for trigger mechanism parts without making the grip thicker. The closest thing to "1.5 stack" that actually exists is the G43X which still uses Glock's extra thick plastic coated magazines and staggers the rounds a little more than most single stacks for a little more capacity but staggers them nowhere near as much as most double stacks. Give me a bit and I will post pictures of a G19 15rd mag and a Hellcat 15 rd mag, loaded, side by side, to show you that "1.5 stack" micro 9s are literally just double stack guns with a marketing name. The magazines are very close in size, the Hellcat magazine is just thinner.

>>64792688I bully pastebin to make him stronger. I bully the one you're talking about because he deserves it. I always try to encourage pastebin to be better because I think he can eventually be a good poster unlike the faggot.
>>64792688I actually don't mind Sgt., he's alright - he's at least earnest in his pursuits. The other poster is irredeemable, and only seeks to troll here.
>>64785970I like your guns.
Holster is TIGHT and the slide serrations scratch off some kydex on the draw. It's a TRex arms IWB how loose can you go with the screws on these?
>>64793330Is it 2 screw or 3 screw? 2 screw means retention adjustment means you back out the two screws that hold your holster together. 3 screw means two screws are fixed and the 3rd is for adjustment
>>64793414I've had holsters work fine with one screw. Subcompact IWB holsters tend to have only one due to space constraints.

>>64790964That's NOT nice. You know it's funny, I mention I had a captcha solver script here, and in like 2 weeks they did the captcha overhaul
